Re: not coping

remember how a while i ago i mentioned my heart horse? the one that i trained for 8 yrs and then had ripped out from under me?
yesterday she was for sale, i said that i would buy her back. its turned around into shes now my sisters horse because she needs one to ride and learn on etc. everything is 'ours, us, we' i can never really have something to myself.
i made an offer on her and theyve accepted so i can pick her up on sunday. in a way i was hoping they would say no. its sad really, that horse took a huge piece of me when they ripped her from under me and could never see her again but she wont ever be mine again. its just hard to accept i guess. im trying not to be selfish and my sister can ride her in the round yard but i can already see how quickly its gone from me trying to get my horse back to shes now my sisters to ride and learn on and do whatever with her. @Snowie @Shaz51 @Sans911 @NatureLover @Eve7

Re: not coping

That is totally not selfish of you, and not fair to you in any way @outlander 😞

I can't actually believe it - you are paying for the horse you love, so your sister can have her? And your family are driving this?

I am outraged for you!

Re: not coping

pretty much @NatureLover i know i wont ride her much and she is a little small for me. i guess maybe im just being selfish. alot of people think that anyway, guess i can just see it myself now.

Re: not coping

Not sefish at all hun. f you pay for it then it is your horse. If your sister wants the horse then she can pay for it. I bet you ill be the one to look after it, feed and water it.

Re: not coping

i dont even get to take credit for her training. my mother and everyone else around me dont allow that it always has to be our or us. it sounds silly but honestly the only thing my mother use to do is drive us around. she had no part in her training. i guess im both happy and just filled with deep sadness too

@Shaz51 @Snowie @NatureLover

Re: not coping

Then let your mother pay for it then @outlander It is for her daughter not yours.

I know you want the best for her hun and that your generosity knows no boundries, but if you have invested so much into this horse then I don't blame you for wanting something for yourself.
