im ok @Eve7 had my birthday yesterday but didnt really celebrate as was working and didnt really have anyone to celebrate with

have been involved in research programs the last few weeks so has been abit intense and back to trauama counselling

It is really good to see you. I wondered how you were. Being homeless is awful. Hope you are settled in and your new place is secure. An extra diagnosis is not good, but maybe will be a deciding factor regarding your NDIS application. Good luck with it. Its difficult to have to face those issues. Yes, you are courageous and resilient.

I am still doing as much creative and community work as I can. Family life still stressful, but people are doing the best they can, with who they are, and what they have.

Hi there @outlander , lovely to hear from you again. And a belated birthday to you for yesterday 🎉💞. I hope it was as good a day as possible 😊

Hannah and I are doing pretty okay now thanks. Recovering from an upsetting incident here at home a couple of months back. Brought back lots of trauma stuff for me. But sorted through it with my clinical psych with some weekly apts. And things have settled down again. Put things in place to prevent anything similar from happening again. I hope. Just a casual acquaintance thinking he had rights, which he definitely did not.

Yes my housing is fairly secure or well as most rentals can be anyway but they were looking for a long term tenant. the biggest factor will be the rent price and whether that will continue to be sustainbale with all the illness/injuries i have

the diagnosis wont help much with NDIS unfortunately or not at this point as its newer meaning i dont have enough evidence at the moment to apply with it

Cos I responded to being alerted to the fact that Community Elders were rebadged without discussion or apology. I am usually pretty restrained and polite. Weary sigh!

I was given some news today and need to have surgery in the next 6 months due to a rare tumor growing. thankfully biopsies say its not malignant but it will continue to grow as well. and the new medical diagnosis with this also means possibility of needing enteral type feeding as my digestive tract isnt working properly anymore

oh ok @Appleblossom i noticed my CG title was also gone without any notices either. has been confusing to me to have everyones titles removed

@outlander Tbh I was glad you mentioned it, as I had so much going in my own life, and there were so many changes on the forum functionality, that I missed it.

Sorry you had a quiet birthday. I tend to be very quiet on mine. Glad you are still doing research stuff. It can be good to keep abreast of things and to be involved and possible influence things for the good.
