Re: not coping

@outlander, a challenge can be good, it motivates you.

I don’t actually consume lots of caffeine, I don’t drink lots of coffee. I do love my matcha, even though it probably does have the same effect. I feel like you do get less of a spike with it too. Sometimes you do need to take meds despite the side effects. The alternative isn’t any good, sometimes meds keep you alive

Re: not coping

ive taken a liking more to gatorade and powerade type drinks. i have to have stuff with electrolytes in them so ive been trying some new flavours out. i like the berry no sugar at the moment. it sort of reminds me of a cordial

Re: not coping

@outlander, I haven’t tried those drinks, last time I had cordial was years ago, I can hardly remember what it tastes like. Certain tastes can bring a sense of nostalgia .

I’ve heard coconut water has electrolytes naturally, it tasted nice when I had it, maybe it would be good for my migraines?

i think theyve changed abit across the years @creative_writer
i found they taste abit different now but theyve branched alot more. they use to only have the red and blue ones now they have lemon lime, berry, tropical and watermelon now plus some other ones oh and orange.
i find i like the fruity sort of ones better they dont taste so artificial as much.

mm ive not had coconut water but i have heard it is a sweeter drink! i might need to try it out.

oh there is a really nice pomegrante drink you can buy from 7/11 i havent seen it for abit though so maybe its discontinued. it was really fresh and a proper juice not just flavoured but the base was coconut water.

i cant beleive how many different sorts of juices and stuff we have these days

Re: not coping

@outlander, yes there are so many different types of drinks out there. Coconut water is certainly sweeter than regular water, it is refreshing, particularly during warmer seasons.

I don’t really drink juice anymore, I just fruit. I love my berries. Artificial tasting juice is a big no from me, it just doesn’t taste real

I love berries and melons too and mangoes. @creative_writer the summer months are good for fruit

Re: not coping

@outlander, I’ve been eating mangoes lately too. The can be really refreshing on a hot day. Same with melons. Though I do think I prefer mangoes and berries over melons. Do you ever drink tea? I want to get herbal tea, but I like the expensive taste so end up feeling too guilty to get it

Re: not coping

i do drink tea but never got into the herbal ones @creative_writer

my favorite is the Twinings English breakfast. they use to have an afternoon tea one to but they discontinued it ages ago. i tried quite a few of herbal type teas but couldnt get into the flavouring same as i dont like iced tea. the lipton peach iced tea use to be nice though

Re: not coping

@outlander, herbal tea isn’t everyone’s cup of tea 😂. I believe my mum has the twinnings English breakfast. I don’t drink ice tea, I feel like tea is meant to be drunk warm.

I’m going to sleep, it was nice talking to you. Goodnight 💖
