Re: not coping

An early night sounds like a good idea @outlander especially after such a big day yesterday.

Never been to a car race or car show. D and H are both into formula 1, they love watching the races on tv. Never could understand 🤷‍♀️

@fluffylight it's hard to deal with them. I think at the moment I'm just stuck. Journalling has been helping me today.

I'm glad she liked the iced coffee!

Re: not coping

Oh wow! Sounds like you were doing a lot of hours of work?

What's resting look like for you today?

The sun is out and glazing through my windows - its feeling nice 🙂

Re: not coping

I'm, glad that you have been finding journaling helpful 🙂 @Snowie

Is there something that would help the stuck feeling? I am holding lots of curiousity

I have been meaning to get back into journaling myself.

I tried the ice chocolate which I quite liked - I don't drink coffee @Snowie

Re: not coping

yeah im not one for watching cars in a circle @Snowie but pop likes it. i like the other things they usually have at car shows though like food stalls, show bags, usually other sorts of stalls. i remember one i went to had homemade stuff for cars that were universal like the seatbelt covers and they had embroided differernt things on there or printed on there.
its good for some companies that make stickers and stuff as well cause many will attend events like that where you can buy premade stickers for cars or you can order directly from them too.

Re: not coping

I'm not sure what would help the stuck feeling @fluffylight It is something I need to talk to my psych about. Whilst I'm not in crisis, it still isn't a nice feeling to sit with.

Journalling is probably one of the things that help me the most. I rarely read back over what I have written. I'm not sure why I don't.

I have been trying to cut down on my coffee intake. I drink too much of it!

@outlander we have a monthly market in my town that is always nice to go to. They have so many handmade things there. Izzy like going to it too. They have a stall with dog treats, she likes that the best!!

Re: not coping

I'm sorry that was my bad - you're going to have long hours of work this weekend - good luck for that @outlander

What movies - any that you recommend?
That sounds like a relaxing Sunday afternoon 🙂

Reminds me I should do some washing!

Re: not coping

i havent been to the markets in ages @Snowie but im usually working when theyre on. ive got some time off coming up so it might be a good chance for me to go then!

they didnt really have many markets here except more like the garage sale type stalls which i wasnt interested in. but theres one abit further down the coastline that has become much bigger and its more those smaller businesses like homemade dog bows and all that sort of stuff now so i might take a look down there on a weekend off! i like supporting those smaller business or budding companies

Re: not coping

ive just been watching comedies @fluffylight but i did recently watch a movie called 'Peanut Butter Falcon' the main character/actor in the movie actually has down syndrome. it was a little hard for me to engage the story line though. i understood the story line but about halfway through the director couldnt really engage the story overly well but i was also quite tired so anything that requires concentration was abit out the window.

i watch more tv shows, i like things that are easy for me to follow and just have on in the background. ive been watching 2 and a half men, MOM, The big bang theory, modern family. i also like medical and crime shows and a few others like the handmaids tale, criminal minds, greys anatomy, and true crime documentaries like nightmare next door. i recently watched one that was quite disturbing where an elderly woman use to have sort of like a house where disabled people were able to go if they had no where or those in unfortunate situations trying to get on their feet but would end up murdering them and would bury them in the back yard, and that was here in australia!
