Re: not coping

I hope you can find that balance @outlander between your work and the commitments you have with your pop. I am guessing it isn't easy.

Re: not coping

well it wasnt to bad because i can take pop to work but i think ill have to try and restrict it as much as posisble. sundays are usually ok for him to come in.
but most days usually are, i cant predict when things will happen @Snowie i hope i get the job i applied for and can offer me some more hours so i dont need to work there as much as i am at the moment

Re: not coping

That would be ideal for you @outlander

i really hope you get the job for your sake. It might just make things a little easier for you.

Better go get tea ready. Have kids starting to annoy me for food! Lucky it's already mostly cooked.

Re: not coping

weve had dinenr cause im babysitting so sorte everything out. when im home ill have to do the dishes and give my house a tidy up because mums coming to mine while her house gets the carpets cleaned @Snowie so i dont really want to have a messy house to much. i cant wait till i can move into a new place and not be in such an old crappy style house that always feels dirty and unkept

Re: not coping

Oh no @outlander . I hope you feel better soon. I know I keep saying this, but I'm still in awe about how much you do despite your health.

I won't bother you now. I know you have to head to bed soon. When you have time, I'd be interested to hear about your sister and whether you get along - only if you feel like sharing.

For me, I feel that being with teens is hard work. So many times, I feel like saying to them, "Will you just get over it?" But I know I can't say those things.

Anyway, have a good one.

Re: not coping

actually my sisters and i get along well. i dont feel close to either of them but even growing up we didnt really have any quarrels. we have quite large age gaps so the biggest quarrol was the younger siblings wanting to 'play' but i had outgrown that stage. and then the same for the middle child when the youngest was born but in general we actually get along ok.
i find being around younger kids to hard, theyre such hard work i would rather be around slightly older kids. teens can often entertain themselves

ive not had much choice but to keep on going @tyme ive had so much taken from me and its taken me along time to be able to get a job and be able to function. its also why despite these treatments being really difficult for me it has allowed me to live a semi normal life. i struggle on a daily basis. but sometimes the breakthrough pain is enough to make me pay attention. it just means trying to reduce some physical activity and increasing pain medications. it probably alos means more fatigue and more time sleeping or resting where possible
