Re: not coping

just stuff at work. fake people. life revolving around everyone else as per usual. its tiring. nothing i ever seem to do is enough or right for some. my efforts to do something right is never 'well done' its aways pick out the bad parts or because it inconveniences them

Awww @outlander . Do you think you can start looking for something else for after your treatment? You have such a big heart.

Re: not coping

I’m already looking and applying @tyme I’ve already had a promising interview the other day

Tonight I had a situation under control at work and then pop went and bad it worse with his own behaviours so it’s making it even harder to go to work now unless it’s on weekends. He shouldn’t even be there in the first place but I have no choice at the moment.

And then when I done handover it become all about that staff member and what she would’ve done differently and made herself look good and me like crap.

I go and tell people I’ve applied for jobs and I get told not to or that I’m selfish because I have to look after pop or whatever they come up with.

Honestly I need some time away from it all so this treatment and the week off after it cannot come fast enough

Re: not coping

I'm hearing how difficult the shift was @outlander . It sounds like it's maybe time to move on to a new workplace - which you know already.

You definitely have a lot in you. I can see some many strong traits of yours as a peer worker or social worker.

I hope things work out with your pop. I see how being a full time carer can take a lot of of you, especially when he is not getting any younger.

Re: not coping

I don't think it's my place to tell you what to do. However, I am concerned with how much you are carrying on your own and how it is affecting you @outlander .
