Re: not coping

Did you want to talk about anything specific @outlander?

How has your day been?

Re: not coping

not really @Snowie things are sort of just hard.

i got an interview for a job tomorrow. ill still be keeping the new one but its only once a week.

Re: not coping

sorry to hear that @outlander know that feeling well

Did you get in to seeing the psych soon? I remember she had to cancel.

I hope the interview tomorrow goes well hon. Does that mean you could quit the job you don't like?

Re: not coping

yes i see her on friday and then i can see her again on tuesday next week so itll go back to the regular 2 week sessions but i probably wont have it next fortnight as wedding will be taking priority that week @Snowie

yes it would mean that i can quit where i am but i probably wont i will just stick with 2 shifts a week as that keeps it at permanent part time and will continue to get my sick leave etc the other jobs are only casual so they pay more but not the benefits

spoke to more nursing homes today. its looking like this will be happening within the next 6 months. so more hurdles yet to come but im trying to take it one hurdle at a time

Re: not coping

Thats good that you see her on Friday @outlander

Saw my psych again today. She had a cancellation so took it.

I can understand about your job. Having that leave and sick leave is good to have in case anything happens.

Sounds like the ball is rolling for your Pop hon. I really hope it is settled soon. I know it is hard to get ahead of yourself, but one hurdle at a time is all you can do hon. At least you have a lesser chance of getting overwhelmed.

Re: not coping

its good when you can take cancellations @Snowie will you still get your regular sessions ontp of the ones you can take on the cancellation list?

i feel abit worried like i have so many medical conditions, i dont want to let another company down but i feel like change is needed so i can actually get abit better. its hard to be well in a toxic environment or a workplace that you dread coming to.

it is all rolling. hes already on several wait lists and when i get guardianship in a couple of weeks i can call another one that may have one within 3 months. so its looking like by mid next year there will be alot of transitioning into the 'normal' world for me

Re: not coping

I have appointments for fortnightly with my psych @outlander so she has been trying to see me weekly lately. I will keep those other appointments too. We have started EMDR. Not sure about it yet or if it is helping. But I guess it is better then ending up back in or doing ect again. Both things I don't want.

I don't think you are letting them down hon. You can't help your medical conditions. They are a part of you and who you are. Do you disclose your medical info with your employer at all?

I hope getting guardianship goes smoothly for you. Do you expect any protest to it?
