Re: not coping

That sounds tough @outlander . I'm glad you are putting things in place. Will family support you at all?

Re: not coping

nope @tyme its hard enough getting support as it is and ive just shut down from them. i dont speak to them about really anything anymore its not worth the drama.
considering my mother and a couple of closer 'friends' knew i was going there for a week and not one person made any contact all i highly doubt itll happen again this time. i dont feel i can rely on anyone in my life unless its paid for at this point esp when it comes to mh. here is abit different but offline i have to pay for it basically

I'm so sorry to hear this @outlander . It sounds like it can get quite lonely sometimes. I hope you will be able to connect on the forums a bit.

Re: not coping

well for this treatment you are admitted to a hospital for 7-10 days straight @tyme i will be in a whole other state so the area is also unfamiliar and no visitors except the dr and nurses that come in every couple of hours to adjust doses etc. not allowed to leave the ward either so your restricted to walking up and down the hallway and sitting at the ends of the corridors to see the outside world besides the windows in the room.

Hearing you @outlander . Lots of time to ruminate hey?

I like to play little games to keep my mind healthy - but you will prob need rest too.

Re: not coping

My vision went super blurry so I couldn’t see really anything @tyme I had to feel my way to the bathroom and bed and couldn’t see the nurses except some colours.

I take my tablet though and headphones to watch Netflix and Stan if there’s nothing on the tv and magazines and find a words. And I have games on my phone and tablet as well but by day 3/4 it starts blurring into one and it gets exhausting but overwhelming and feels like been there forever. Or for me it does

Re: not coping

is it strange that an adult needs/wants care? or someone to just care for them instead of being the carer.
i feel like my emotions are all over the place and needing emotional support or to know there is someone who cares.
i feel so disconnected from everyone but inside i just want a safe and secure feeling and to know that someone is there that i dont need to pay for to be there for me.
i guess its worse right now because im sick but i use to be so independent. now i feel like even though i have to be independent i dont really want to be sometimes.
not sure if that ramble will make much sense to anyone
