Something’s not right

im not coping

i cant handle all of these things

besides my mental health deteriorating so dramatically, and my physicall health floating up the creek

and now within the past few hours

my great grandmother now is in a nursing home and they dont know how long she has left and to make thigns worse i think i have to put my beleoved horse down.

we just had vets out and spend the last 4 hours trying to save my horse. its been 2 hours and went back to check on her and its not looking good.

not good at all 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞

i dont know what to do or how to feel, im a complete mess 😞

i have work tomorrow @Jynx and then friday i have a day program im taking pop to so no rest. saturday working, sunday volunteering. tuesday is a big day for me as is wednesday so no rest on the horizon! i might take tomorrow off though if im still feeling the way i am today.

@outlander Oh my stars that is a lot to have on the cards! Yes please do give yourself permission to take time off if needed. Sometimes the best thing we can do is to do nothing at all.

@Jynx i still have work in between those appointments and still caring for pop and doing horses.

i am looking forward to sunday. im volunteering at a horsey event and helping ride a couple of horses as well. so as tired as i am im looking forward to that.

i see my psychologist on tuesday and i get some test results to work on some next steps for my health on wednesday.

tuesday im both looking forward to it but also really not. its the assessment thats needed to basically get into a permanent aged care centre so another big step to be taking.

Sounds like a very helpful but also indeed nerve-wracking appt on Tuesday. I hope it goes well. And also that you do something to treat yourself after! I'm guessing you'll be pretty low energy so maybe some choccy or a bath bomb or something 😊💜

itll probably be about managing behaviours from pop on tuesday @Jynx he doesnt know about the care yet so words are being used carefully and as long as he gives them permission for them to talk on his behalf it might make it alot easier.

how are you going? have you got anything nice coming up across thr weekend

@outlander Well I hope it goes smoothly, it sounds like you're doing everything you can to ensure he's well looked after.

I have a close friend's birthday, we're going to go see the Barbie movie haha. Although I've come down with something today and feeling pretty awful, so I may have to just stay in bed all weekend 😞

im hearing you @Jynx theres so many bugs going around. im hoping whatever i have is gone by tomorrow. im to busy to be sick!

i have heard that the new barbie movie has come out though im not one for barbie lol. ill probably watch it when it comes out at some point though just to say ive watched it!'

hopefully you feel better by the weekend so you dont miss out on the birthday! being sick in bed is no fun

Me too @outlander! My head feels like it weighs a tonne, and I'm so sick of sniffling already and it's only day 2 🤧 I hope you recover soon as well!

I've actually heard the Barbie movie is supposed to be quite subversive. I was never really into barbie's either, I was more a stuffed animal kinda kid. But the history of the toy is quite interesting - she was always meant to be an inspiration to women. Like even early on, they were releasing like 'lawyer barbie' and 'doctor barbie' and stuff, back in a time when women really weren't seen as being capable of having jobs like that. And even though there's a Ken doll, they never get married or anything like that - the Ken doll is technically counted as an accessory! 😂 So I'm hoping the movie is actually going to be a very mature, progressive kind of experience - like I don't think it's meant for little kids lol. But we shall see!
