not coping

You needed some spoiling @outlander and it’s great you managed to do so much in such a short space of time.

I paid for a holiday today so my bank account took a beating but I’m excited for it and hoping my foot is much improved by then.

@Eve7 I have paid for 2 holidays recently. A weekend away and then a week away in January/ Sort of investment in my future. I keep trying to talk my son into a little holiday for himself on his terms ... work in progress there.

i have been in hospital for the last 2 days getting IV antibiotics. unfortunately i had a really bad throat and tonsil infection resulting in difficulty breathing and my airways being quite swollen so it was getting very hard to manage. i wasnt able to take antibiotics at home as i wasnt able to swallow anything besides a sip of water and even that was a struggle. ive been home today but still need to continue treatment at home now that i can swollow. symptoms have gone abit downhill again tonight so ill give the doctors a call tomorrow and see what they say. at least my temp has come back to a normal level as it was around 39 before. hopefully i dont have to go back again 😞
