Re: not coping

What comes out of a human is a lot less than a horse @outlander lol!!

You do get used to some things, smells, etc. Although most nurses have one or more no goes. Mine is spit, and a few other unmentionables.

I think this might be an OK start for you. You have to start somewhere hun. And sometimes you have to jump in feet first and hope it works out. What's the worst that can happen to you?

@outlander

Re: not coping

Hi @outlander , have I missed something? Are you not the carer for your Pop any more?

I can see you've had enough of caring role, plus you need a job where you're not on your feet all the time. What about a Peer Mental Health Worker?

Either way, I hope it works out best for you about this job interview today...

Re: not coping

Hi @NatureLover

no im stil a carer for pop but i need another job as well. i need to try and get out more besides looking after pop and with my new medical condition its really expensive and i cant afford it even with that little bit extra with the horses. now that its more summer months no one really needs me with the horses so that jobs non existent now except for some here and there.

some good news though i guess @Sans911 @Snowie @NatureLover @Eve7 @Emelia8 and all who might be following along.
i did get the job, i will be starting next week to see how i go and if i want to continue with it

Re: not coping

thanks @Eve7 @Snowie
working in disability but will see how that goes as i dont really want to work in the industry anymore not even for pop but might be different as its different setting and stuff and not living and breathing pop or the horses or the kids anymore.

i just feel so flat though. didnt show in the interview at least but geez i just feel so flat and unmotivated to do anything

Re: not coping

Ahhhh well done @outlander 🎉

You will do fine, you clearly have the necessary skills and experience.

I hope this new job proves to be of dual benefit .... 1. Takes some of the pressure off your financial situation, and 2. Acts as a stepping stone to a new career for you.

Something to celebrate. Proud of you L'il One. 😄💖
