Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Well, life and its lessons... are never quite done with me! The social dynamics, dramas and dilemmas i have been going through for my entire life. Are all coming to the surface and finally beginning to shine through. I think we all have very bitter, twisted, disturbed and deranged side to us. That indeed has a breaking point and a point of no return. And on the contrary we are all aware of the reactions and consequences we face when we have overdone it.

So my point being. Is it better to be alone? Then to run the gauntlets of people's dark and sinister sides? And being made a victim of them, once again?

This is why i am so stand offish. And so recluse and hermit like.

@Former-Member it is my understanding that emails are responded to within a time frame...as you mentioned you are busy behind the scenes

I was led to believe that a moderator was always watching....I did note that comments on there were edited

I do not want this to be a negative experience or anyone to feel that I am directing anger towards anyone...this is part of the issue

My greatest concern was for the person who started the thread....

latest response confirms why worst fears...

why are some people protected so much on here and others ignored?

I have spoken to my psychiatrist and he was not in the least surprised

Referring someone to a page on your website is not a very empathic, compassionate response

I request that someone in the background reassure the writer of this thread as according to the community guidelines .....community guides are meant to stick to the subject.

I decline the offer of community guide also

Re: Coming to terms with reality

I get socially paranoid. And of course i need social interaction if i am wanting to do well. Example. Be happy, content, healthy, have meaning and purpose.

Sometimes i think its just better and easier if i. Go into hermit and recluse mode. But it becomes very hard without the social support.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Ah its all above and beyond me!

I'm finding life too be. Very isolating, lonely and filled with solidarity. Plenty of spare time on my hands. Plenty of time to think and become negative.

Life is very vein and futile!

@eudemonism

please ignore the banter on here at the moment

this must have no effect on your goals

I am not going to say anymore about the matter....it was important for me to write about the injustice that I felt...I have done that

you can separate all of this from you.....as you have learnt to separate certain people in your life from you

if you would feel more comfortable leaving this thread.....start a new one...close this part of your journey off...take a new road......

you mentioned earlier in the piece writing something on enjoying time with others....

the creative side of you would love to be let loose I am sure....

above anything else know that you have done nothing...you are an innocent bystander sadly

read back over some of the positive things that you have said....

you changed your room around.....you walked your dog on the beach....you were aware of nature and it's beauty

would a walk or drive to the beach help? breathing in that fresh sea air....watching those waves....allowing your breathing to match the waves rolling in and out

whatever your choice I am guided by you.....

Re: Coming to terms with reality

There has been a response to me....I thank you for the response

my indignation is further fuelled by the fact that you respond to me..

is this because I am the one speaking up

where is the response to the original writer of this thread...

have you actually noticed that his posts have now stopped,...

where is the justice here...

where is the encouragement?

this is supposed to be about reassuring..encouraging....for all

so where is that?

I dare to risk being banned for myself..

you sow now reassurance.. Encouragement.. Hope. For the writer of this thread..

he had nothing to do with the disagreement between. Two others

one who has now left ...the other still here ..protected

show me the support you offer the writer of this thread

are the values and principles the same for everyone's?

Hi @Former-Member

It is really wonderful to see you standing up for your friends within the forums.

As I mentioned before, there is a lot that happens behind the scenes of these forums. We have been in touch with all members that are part of this conflict as well as members possibly impacted. For privacy reasons I cannot go into further detail.

I encourage you to continue to post in the way you have previously to forum friends and hope the discussion will return to the way it was soon

Re: Coming to terms with reality

thank you @Former-Member

This is what I needed to hear......I do not need to know what was said....I needed to hear that action had been taken.....

My purpose was not to continue or fuel the conflict.....

community guidelines were not adhered to...

others moving forward need to also be reassured that they are safe and not judged....

I sincerely hope @eudemonism that you continue to use the forums.......if not here....elsewhere....you are a valued part of the forum community and are already missed
