Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Former-Member here's a theory i came up with last night, after i asked God why society has done this to me. Consider that I've been working on this theory, for some time now.

What options does a person have??? If someone else is doing the wrong thing to them??? Try to punish them in return??? Or try to forgive them??? #1 if you try to punish them in return, they will either have to forgive you, or further punish you in return... #2 if you try to forgive them, they will either further punish you, or forgive you in return... we're living in an unforgiving world... and they are unforgiving because they are stronger or have the law on their side... because they feel they are in the right...

@Former-Member i kick up a stink about the system and what it's doing to me, because i believe it is wrong. But does anybody listen or do anything about it???

@eudemonism

When it comes to the things of GOD, ABBA Father!

Forgiveness, is not weakness, Forgiveness, true from the heart, with GOD, & HIS truths, (The Word) firmly planted, in our mind, & our heart (Spirit).

True Forgiveness, through The Holy Spirit of GOD, & of our own free will, is pure Strength & Love, & Freedom! It's accepted of the sin, in this sinful fallen World, which we were born into, as, he/she who is without sin, cast the first stone! Amen! <><<

Knowing & believing in this truth, we, you & me, are set free, to be Victors in the world, as it is. This knowledge, used in our daily life, is a healing, by the Grace, & Love our gift from LORD JESUS, whom set the example of, Love & the true meaning, (Forgiveness)when HE was crucified, forgave the world, died, in our place, & rose from the dead, to introduce us, to, GOD & HIS, healing power, called LOVE! LOVE, born of true forgiveness, of abominable sin, against our, souls!

Now, to forgive, from a repented heart, is strength, & release from being caught up in heart ache, & pain (emotional) as it's not giving the red light to sinful behaviour against us, or others. In the contrary, repented, heart forgiveness, is never weak, nor a surrender to that which is evil done, or wrong against us, or another. No, it's making a stand against the wrong doing, by not allowing that wrong to hurt us anymore!! It takes amazing Courage & Strength to forgive, put down the weapons of, payback, & anger, as all these things do in the long run are hurt ourselves, BIG Time!! & that is what unforgiveness, anger prolonged, revenge, & wrong thinking, frustration, disturbed emotions, wornout body, & mind, & will, are doing in the BIG picture, of unforgiveness! Unforgiveness, is our own, worst deceptive, enemy!

Just cleanse your heart, let go, & forgive, is my advise! Eude!

Love & Hugs!

@Former-Member I'm thinking that they just gonna continue on their ways of hurting me for no good reason at all.

Good night Bella. I'm tired. Sorry about my ramblings.

@Former-Member I'm sorry for getting stroppy with you yesterday. I'm indeed most frustrated about the problems I'm dealing with. And I'm indeed at my wits end...

Luke 11:29 As the people crowded around Jesus, he went on to say, "How evil are the people of this day! They ask for a miracle, but none will be given them expect the miracle of Jonah.

Mattew 12:39 "How evil and godless are the people of this day!" Jesus exclaimed. "You ask me for a miracle? No! The only miracle you will be given is the miracle of the prophet Jonah.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Good morning @Sophia1 i got lost in communication there for a little bit. I was unaware of what was going on between yourself and unwell family. Plus you were trying to support me and others at the same time.

When i was unwell i used my mother as soft target. I blamed her and was very angry at her. And even till this day i still have the potential, the capacity and the ability to text / voice mail her nasty stuff. It got extremely bad there for awhile. Voice mail and text messages of the most awful and horrendous nature. My mental and physical life was in a bad way and i blamed my mother. Hence because she was the one who raised me... my brother ended up coming to her defence, along with my sister, and she even said a few words about it to myself...

I knew it was wrong. I didn't feel good about it. But i also felt i had no other options. I even smashed her car up a few Times. Got caught up in the judicial system for it as well. There has been alot of times where my thoughts have been very 'wrong '

I know have a reasonable relationship with all family members. Although not prefect. It's better then they were in times gone bye.

I hope this message helps ease what you're dealing with regards family and mental illness. Plus. As a sufferer of mental illness. I'd like to say it's a day to day battle of. Managing my illness. Managing my responsibilities and managing life. These days if I'm feeling upset with mum i just say it in a non offensive way.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Thank you so much @eudemonism

sharing a very private difficult time of your life takes courage and bravery....as well as forgiveness

i do understand that he does not mean to be that way...that it is the illness mostly...

there is obviously some blame there as well..

Part of the blame...victim attitude is his not taking any responsibility for his choices...hopefully after experiencing more frightening episodes he will eventually learn this...

I have tried very hard to support him all of his life along with this stage of life where he has fled interstate..

listening to him ...not judging attempting to make minimal suggestions...some welcome..some not..

I am hoping that for his sake he will listen to the sincere people who want to help him..

a part of me would like to see him have holistic medicine...another part of me is coming to terms with the fact that I believe that window of time has passed...

His illness has deteriorated considerably now

He is terrified as anyone would be with what is racing through his mind..

you touched on this also..

I do have to remain firm and let him know that I will not tolerate texts referring to any abuse or horror..

I have had too many years of abuse in the past...

I am of course trying to keep this part anonymous..

impossible when needing to vent....utilise self care

I do thank you for your honesty and for whatever reasons that you have...I believe your mum would have a sense of relief at how you are working hard at attempting to turn your life around now...

A very difficult task for you when you have acquaintances constantly trying to tempt you into following an unhealthy lifestyle..

It is not helpful to judge yourself on your past....you will improve the quality of your life vastly by forgiving yourself...accepting the past as the past only...

I am pleased to have found you on here and be a part of your virtual world...

Thank you again for sharing....

It does help to hear the perspective from lived experience..

@Sophia1 apart of it, is just how life is. Apart of it, is a treatable illness. Apart of it, is living and learning.

Between the devil and the deep blue sea...

@eudemonism

I forgave you Eude, before you even asked me to!

My goodness, if I chose to try & add up all the times that I have asked people, to forgive me, in my life. I'm sure the number would, shock me!!

I am unwell myself, atm, maybe not the same as, your unwell. Neither the less, it is frustrating me. I know how wearing it can be, on the nerves. I'm not as patient myself, atm.

I love you & am happy that you are ok today, GOD Bless!

Love & Hugs!
