Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

None of you have upset me. It's my own mental, spiritual, intellectual and emotional problems. Negative thinking patterns which overwhelmed me & got in the way of myself getting on with life. + my life, my needs & my relationships not being in good shape, needing maintenance and work. + a few other stressful factors...

It has all been brewing for a very long-time, it's old stuff that has been dormant for ages...

@Sophia1 yyou haven't done anything to upset me. If anything you've done everything you could do too help. Your support ismuchly appreciated. I'm feeling stupid, immature and silly atthe moment...

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

They are “just” feelings @eudemonism ..... that is not intended as invalidation .... we feel what we feel .... but feelings are fickle, changeable .... they go up and down on huge roller-caster rides that leave us emotionally exhausted ..... so distraction and “getting on with things” is an important way of pushing the feelings aside, going around them, to find coping methods.

Talking about how you feel can really help ..... expressing those feelings and letting them out, so they don’t just spiral around and around inside.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Shaz51i genuinely think I'm dealing with problems that are all revolved around stress. (Stresses which were out of my control. Stresses which i was wrongly exposed to) heck. I'm stressed about everything...

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Faith-and-Hope everything i have ever been through. These supposed symptoms. Are all repercussions of stresses i was exposed to (which were out of my control) and i would like to get everyone on the same page. So we know what we're dealing with. Instead of slapping an ugly and unchangeable diagnosis on me. Which comes with horrendous stigma...

How I wish I could look into your, sad beautiful, loving, giving, hurting, eyes, at this moment. The courage, & the strength that you have, & use to keep yourself alive, & here for your precious family, & friends, is amazing to me, personally.

When I was thinking I want to help you, in some way, that song was there without a doubt, 100% for you! I am so deeply touched that you were able to be released, in the way that you opened up & shared what you have. In doing so, you have actually started a very deep, & cleansing, process within your heart.

You have also, touched me deep within my Spirit, & I saw myself, & my own locked away pain, that I have not been able to process properly, nor deal with properly, for most of mylife. Through being traumatised, on an ongoing basis, starting from a very young age until only about 8 years ago, no exaggerating, seriously.

I honestly never posted what I did thinking of myself in any way, other than the song Hero, has always made me cry, deep within my heart, when I listen to it.

I will not say anymore as this is about you, not me, & I am so very Proud of you Sophia!

You are stronger than you think, & wiser than you know, & A true Masterpiece, & I love being your friend, thank you for letting me into your life!

Sincerely, & Lovingly!

Bella XO 🙂

P.S

I believe that you are a wonderul, Friend, Mother, & Wife, your son is seriously unwell, you can only do so much. GOD is in the Miracle working business, if HE is welcomed in. You can only do so much, look after, you first, & " Que Sera Sera"! xo

Yes @eudemonism .... stress can cause incredible symptoms .... I had medical scans earlier this year when my arms kept turning numb. It was eventually assigned to stress. It’s the body trying to cope.

Have you written down (or had someone help you) the series of events that have contributed to where your mental health is now ? Sometimes documents speak louder than spoken words.
