Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Good Morning, everyone Tagged, & maybe others, too! 🙂

Hi, Sophia, 🙂

I will be getting ready for my GP appointment soon, so I will make this short for now. I was ready what you wrote about not wanting to grow up, if I'm correct?

Well, when I was such a tiny little child, I would sit under the Gigantic Mulberry Tree, in our back yard (of 3 blocks), I would sit there as long as I could waiting for the Fairies to come, as I believed in Fairies Big time. I would fall asleep for hours under the large out swept branches waiting for the Fairies.

I would make wishes, & believed for them all to come true, because I believed that the Fairies, would make them come true. One of my wishes, was that I would, not grow old, & never grow up!

Until I had the accident, & seriousness of it all, & after all the pain, set in & then serious life changing surgery, that I've mentioned. I have always been, very caring, & loving, yet, most times, a, BIG playful Imp!

When I first joined SF, my Avatar, was always Fairies. I would change the picture, around to different looking Fairies, as much as I change my cloths, at times. I also played with members, & pretended that I was a Fairy to make them happy & giggle.

@TAB, thought at one stage that I was a computer programme. Hahhahaha, I was stunned that I had that effect on people, we had fun then, & @TAB @Bunniekins @outlander ,would get in on the fun with me, & we all played like children in SF would you believe. Awwahh!!!

Anyway, I must admit I'm not so much fun loving at the moment with all the pain, maybe one day I will get my child like playfulness back, as I do believe it's good for our health, to play sometimes.

I better go get ready now for the GP, talk again soon!

Love & BIG HUGS!

Bella xoxo :)

Feeling very drugged up and besides myself. Feeling very helpless. I'm trying to remain positive and optimistic. But hey. That can only get me so far. I'm backed up into a corner when it comes to my addictions & medications...

Hello @eudemonism

There probably are not any words that come anywhere close enough to soothe your pain..

I wish that I could do something or say something to help..

I now know that I have probably said too much in fact in the past at times when your struggles were overwhelming..

I want to let you know that I am reading your posts and taking in what you are expressing...

I want you to try and feel by those very actions that I am holding you...supporting you...staying with you...

Even when I have to be away from here at times I am still thinking of you and supporting you..

You are important...you are valued...you are loveable....you are courageous and yes you do have strength even though you might tell yourself otherwise...

big gentle hug whilst you are being held
