Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Yes that seems like a good idea @eudemonism

@eudemonismSometimes it takes going within to discover who you can be and allow that to take importance. You can still be open to others, but only as it feels natural. The more you are happy within and satisfied doing good things, the more you can benefit others anyway.

For me, its partly about which people, but also about speaking out and being open. When I was young I was too anxious to please. I pleased nobody ...lol

Take Care, I will be away for a few days at a festival, but I look forward to checking in on the forum when I am home.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Appleblossom thanks I'm hearing what you're saying... It's good stuff... certain people should be more considerate of how they impact upon others.

@Sophia1 how are you going? It's up and down for me. Trying to head in the right direction. But it's near impossible with so much goong on around me.

@Shaz51 I've planned myself a nice meal to show everyone at the next Friday feast.

@Former-Member I'm relying on the bible for counsel and advice.

@frog i hope all is well with you.

Eude

I'm trying to change my ways and get myself back on track. But this guy (my associate) keeps bringing me down. I'm thinking that he don't care about me or my life. I'm thinking that he only cares about himself. And unfortunately he's constantly drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes. (It's really getting to me) he's got every opportunity under the Sun to help me achieve my goals. But it appears that he just doesn't care. Awhile ago i was waking up early and having problems and I think it was his influence upon my life. I don't think he understands how much influence he has over my life. And I'm feeling that it's bringing me down! And I'm rather upset about it.. It's like a trap, it's like a web... what do i do?

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Shaz51 & @Hope4me i confronted him about it... and he just slimes his way out of it with his words... It's definitely tic for tac... I've as much done it to myself as he's done it to me... it could be a case of misery loves company... he's a fatherless child and the bible does speak about fatherless children @Former-Member ???

@Sophia1 Mischa is doing really well he's settled down lots... he's happy to sleep in the carport in his bed or to come along in the car for drives or to go for a walk along the beach... he's got a great nature... he just needs a little obedience training and socialising... Purrpurr is rather happy to... she is easy to look after... a few pats and a bit of attention from time to time... a bowl full of food, a bowl of water and some milk every now and again... and Monti is easy to look after... I'm gonna be getting him a new enclosure at some stage... hopefully in the next couple of months... + I'll need a stand for the enclosure to sit on... + some other bits and pieces...

How are you going @utopia @Mazarita @TAB @Bunniekins @Friendconnect ?????

@eudemonism Hi eudemonism I have been doing well. I have a mh nurse who I see once a week and now a psychologist along with my psychiatrist both of whom I realy like. I have my usual issues of which I am working on and trying really hard to get over *sigh* but I am not going to give up.

So happy that your pets give you so much joy. They really are special aren't they :D. Look after yourself and don't let others drag you down. Love greenpea
