Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Coming to terms with reality

@Sophia1 because they have to cover themselves legally. All they can say is... Take the injection or you'll become unwell. And you'll get sent back to hospital and put on a cto and they'll up the dose. Yes I've been taking the oral as extra medication. But they've ran out now. And I'm going to stop them. They done more for me than the injection ever has.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Sometime I feel that you're sick of me @Sophia1 so I hesitate reaching out too you. Since I've been on the oral tablets. I've been reaching out to the phone call centres a lot less. And have been a lot more stable. Less agitated and so on. Less inclined to reach out for help. My honest opinion is... The injection does stuff all for me apart from make me very sick and lll and create bigger problems... But what do I do about it? When the medical professionals are in denial and are just legally covering themselves bye telling me. I'm mentally ill. I have schizophrenia. I need to take the injection. Or I'll become unwell and be sent back to hospital? It's a joke...

Hello @eudemonism

"Thinking that I am sick of you could not be further from the truth Eude..

I was pleased to see you interacting with others as well...

I have not been myself..good grief when was I last myself? Silly statement..

Have been confused in my mind with pain..painkillers..medical appointments..mother..Blah blah blah..

have been sheltering in living with ourselves mostly..

speaking to a few others..

wondered what was going on

medication...hmmm..

if you seriously want to come off of the depot injection...I am assuming that your long term psychiatrist knows this..get a new psychiatrist...

explain oral medication works better..write it all down if easier and give to read..

You take control calmly and strongly.....no aggression

make sense?

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Yea @Sophia1 it can sometimes appear to be a world of negativity we are living in. Problems here. Problems there. Problems everywhere. It's so easy to be consumed bye negative thinking. (which is all based around our experiences & relationships) it's kind of scary really... It's kind of what keeps us going... The counselor said to me 'our consciences are hardwired to seek acceptance & connection' all for now...

yes @eudemonism

acceptance and connection...

we can work at negativity....even if problems everywhere....we decide to look at what we can change at the moment...
