Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

It's really not that big a deal @outlander re 'level' I just took it step by step. I can also feel/seem socially awkward and same re loner, but they are just feelings and labels. Anyway I just told myself I would have a go and that led to having lots more 'go's' which ended up in a degree. Im not trying to make light of your feelings or situation I'm just saying I was in a similar situation/mindset.
Positivity can creep and and grow..😀 Even if it is for a set goal and not forever forever.. not trying to push it, just saying 😀

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

hi @Former-Member

i cant always identify when its safe or not to drive and sometimes i have to drive even when not in a good headspace to get to different different jobs.

it can be calming when driving along the scenic routes and looking at the beaches and things like that but some days its friggin dangerous.

i had two cars near hit me today both at their fault for not using blinkers when going around roundabouts!

some people need to learn how to drive properly!

and set a goal? like for each day to start with?

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

Well it was Honours lol. My Masters few years later saw me walking away after a few weeks.
Course choice is important. Re when I stuffed Masters. You have to be interested.
Er, it wasn't that much of a struggle a lot of the time. Just need a routine that works for you, learn study habits, do the work, which is sort of easy well re motivation so you have to be interested in subject . Clarify things. Ask for help when need it. Tag out or take time off if you need to, well mine took me extra 6 months cos subjects didn't match up so I went and got a job for a few months. Being prepared worked for me. Give self lots time to get there, give self rewards, treats, celebrate achievements. Just going there is number 1 and keeping on top of things. Again. All goes back to be interested 🤓 Lol there would be lots info around, could go and see someone, look at what's realistic, start off slow. I was 34 when I went, so no study background to speak of. I was just at centrelink(grr) guy who saw me was doing a big career change, he was in manual work before. So he had been on both sides of desk as he said.
In the end it's your Path .. I may not have used degree for work .. yet .. but I would have really regretted not having done it.
Lucky friend talked me into doing the entry test, although I went and did an apprenticeship after deferring and forgetting about uni. Then on a chance I rang up and found out scores still valid, and had support as said but that comes in all forms.. and just went there... it's Life .. re paths choices. Im not any smarter or saner now, just glad I did it and it was a big help to my wellbeing at the time. @outlander

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

PS .. taking the 'steps' made me feel better, created skills, beliefs, then it just went from there @outlander

@outlander

There is a lot of stupidity on the road. People revving up engines -- just so that they can be deemed or seemed as cool... Idiot, more like it. Uhg. Glad to hear you are safe - close experiences must be so alarming.

Scenic roads do seem nice

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

Thank you my beautiful sister @Former-Member I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I love you so much!!
You have made me feel a little lighter emotionally thanks to you being you.
I had the worst Doctors visit today I didn't cry I was outraged. Too much to go into detail just say I had a first & last visit with a Pig of a so called Specialist Doctor. He treated me with disrespect & inexcusable judgmental attitude because I mentioned that I get Anxiety attacked when overloaded with stress. Cutting a long story short I put him in his place without being abusive & I told him I am going & walked out NEVER to return!
No one has to put up with ignorance & control just because it's a so call Doctor!
Good Evening the people in the group are real people who are over comers & much more stronger than we think we are!!!!

I love all of you!
Bella xo 🙂
