Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-Member you sound so happy that makes me feel happy. I am waiting for the introductory classes for physics to come online. For some reason they are having difficulty with them atm. So I am doing other studies instead which is all good for the brain. My daughter did physics and enjoyed it in Year 12. I encouraged her to do it and she didnt regret it.

You so brilliant with your art. It never ceases to amaze me how good you are. I cannot wait to see more pieces.

Hope you are having a lovely day.

Luv

Re: -Enigma-

Oooh @Former-Member Sorry to hear that. Things can be very up & down. I liked reading about you waiting for the dough to rise while baking with her.

@BunniekinsThat is so difficult to manage. Can your son get any therapy so that he asks for attention in a different way. Sadly I have felt similarly to him and spent a night in ED when I was very upset a year ago and felt unsafe to travel on public transport. Gradually I have gained more mh support and now finally my son is registering for his own support. I have been battling on my own for a long time.

btw I love your academic interests.

@Former-MemberYou are sounding a bit more hopeful and settled. Glad hubby will wait. Glad you both get along. I wish I knew the answer to the troubles your daughter has. I will thinknof you doing cross stitiches. I still have one unfinished, but not ready to do that. Need tolog off and prepare for concert today.

Cheers All

Re: -Enigma-

Just checked back on here now - oh @Former-Member , I hope your daughter will be alright. I so sympathise with you both as I understand how illness can effect a family - the anxiety, stress and concern 😔. I am sitting here with you @Former-Member moment to moment sending a big hug your way. Please keep us updated. We are here for you xxx 🤗

I am starting to feel a bit better now @Bunniekins - I a mess pushing myself to keep busy of mind and body and to stick to my routine. Otherwise the weight of my life stressors would totally stop me from living. And I won't allow it so far. It's good that you are keeping your mind active with something of interest - it's good for health all round. Nice how your daughter is following in her mums footsteps - you must be very proud. Most at that age would put physics in the too hard basket. Good on little pea - do you think she will go on to study it in uni?

Hi @Appleblossom - always good to read a post from you. Thank you for your support. My daughter seems to be keeping this dangerous chap at arms length presently so I feel more settled. And I throw myself into life which helps. If I listened to my mind and worries I would be flat on my back - so exercising some resilience presently. I hope I can keep it up. My best friends husband (whom I am close too as well) has terminal cancer, so I am trying to be there for her as well. The pressure of everything reached sky rocket and now I am heading back to earth 🌏 and finding my feet again. Glad to have you all here for support - it really does help.

My daughter is a difficult one - she has improved but can still throw greneades now and then. And she still blows money. If I could wish anything for her it would be a healthier self esteem, confidence and to find someone with a heart of gold. This would see her right and better mentally. It's the men and some friends she chooses in her life that keep bringing her back down - but she allows it. Otherwise she would of stayed up there. She can talk to my husband better than me - I think I try too hard to advise and direct (typical mum I suppose - I want to fix and protect her too keenly). So I have to back off. She is working two jobs and we get along better. My husband is guiding her away from this chap - hopefully once again we will succeed to save her.

How did your radio recording go? I was thinking of you. Enjoy your concert. Let us know how it goes x

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-Member Hi -Enigma- my daughter is very bright even with the bias of being a mother. She has a very high IQ but has other issues which we have to get right first before she starts uni. I would love her to go. She would probably study an Arts and Humanities subject as that is her passion. At the moment she is not interested in dating which is a good thing as I would be worried sick lol.

Thanks @Shaz51 💕
It was a tough one today.
Sitting and waiting at the hospital for 7 hours, trying not to worry about my daughter. 😢

Night night to you @Former-Member and everyone. 💜💕

Re: -Enigma-

Sorry. @Former-Member Hope you got some support from the hospital eventually?

@Former-MemberThe concert was beautiful. Full house about 2000. It usually is sublime.Best seats are on stage and not too much pressure in chorus. I have been doing them for about 10 years and starting to feel I belong. I met a lady I used to work with over 40 years ago. I was singing next to 2 young blondies who remind me of my daughters, but they are really unique and friends.

My son just phoned, had his own great time doing different FUN stuff with his half-sister. So the world has its twists and turns, it has almost made me curious to stay for the duration to see where what else happens.
