Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: -Enigma-

Ahhh @Shaz51 - so sorry to read you also suffered childhood abuse. So glad you and your mum got away when you did. You are amazing and such a positive influence here on Sane xx 😘

Thank you @Former-Member for being there for me. My daughter did start counselling recently at a sexual assault clinic. She may have to attend a court case against her rapist soon. She is waiting on to see if there significant DNA evidence. Unfortunately she waited a week to tell anyone and be tested when it happened, which apparently is normal hesitation.

Thats great how you went swimming in the surf. What a fabulous pick me up!! - I always feel great after an ocean dip. I also like to go mid morning or at 3pm for the same reason. Those UV rays can be savage.

I feel a little better after doing some relaxing stitching and organising a kit for a new pattern. Tomorrow I will be planting some new shrubs and getting the garden looking tip top for the sale. On Monday I will start washing walls and doing a spring clean to get everything looking great. Wow, I have some work ahead of me, I also will be stitching 3-4 hours a day to get a project ready for a special retreat I will be attending next year. Then on Tuesday out with a friend - Wednesday my volunteer work. I just can't afford to get sick or distressed.

It is an awful feeling that I was not there to protect my daughter. She really needs to remove herself away from this man because neither of us can go through any more. It's one day at a time now. I am off to try and get an early night now - not sure if I will sleep though. Thank you for your support @Former-Member - am also always here for you. I love our chats xx 😘

Re: -Enigma-

That’s good your daughter having counselling @Former-Member
A slow journey, but definitely worth it.
Sorry about the court case. Good on her, very brave of her. ❤️
I’m going to have to try and sleep now.
I hope you’re sleeping already.
Night night 💜

Re: -Enigma-

Good morning (just ☺️) @Former-Member@Bunniekins@Shaz51@Appleblossom@outlander@oceangirl and anyone floating by.

I think I am starting to settle after the shock of Friday - so am back full swing into my busy schedule. Sometimes I wish I had more time for me, but being busy helps and keeps me fully engaged in life and being around others which I like. Today I will be exercising and then finishing of a cross stitch project so I can start my new one that I want to take to the retreat early Feb 2019. Boy I realise how short life really is when I realise I have too many projects to finish in this lifetime!

My husband and his work and connection are in the process of doing a fund raiser for Beyond Blue. I am proud of how he gives to the community - and he really gets things done successfully. I admire how he does not let his chronic pain stop him.

@Former-Member - how are you going today? How is your daughter now - is she feeling better? It really hurts when so called friends fail us. But then she will learn the difference between real and fake and will make better, more genuine ones in the future. Hope your day is going well.

@Bunniekins - how is your son now - is he still settled? Has the family had time to normalise again or does it take longer? Thinking of you. Wow - a volcanologist, that is really interesting. Don't let age stop you, go for your dream.

@Shaz51 - how are you going today?

@oceangirl - if you are around, how are you going? I know you get busy like me and don't always get a chance to be on here but I am always thinking of you.

Well I am off to exercise. Tomorrow is my day out with friends and I always have a good time there. I don't like to be at ho e too much - feeds my worries and I am a people person now. I love to have a good laugh and fun with others - it breaks up the tension. I will pop on again later 💞

Re: -Enigma-

Good on you @Bunniekins - you will do it, you are very intelligent, and your passion will be the driving force. Are you doing a refresher course or similar now? So glad to read your son is doing well now.

Sending a warm shout out to @Former-Member - thinking of you. How are you going today?

In response to: Re: -Enigma-

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-Member yes I am doing a refresher course right now. I havent studied since I had my breakdown. What have you got on today?

In response to: Re: -Enigma-

Re: -Enigma-

So glad to read you are getting back into studies you enjoy and find interesting @Bunniekins. Does the refresher course cover the relevant basics of science subjects and maths? I like to read a bit about physics myself when time allows - my husband did a degree in it many moons ago. He loves science and history.

I am going to do some exercise today as I am needing to be fitter physically. With all the stress and sleep problems I have thrown my body out and now need to get it back in order. At the moment I find it tiring...I will need to build up to it. Just when I am about there another drama will occurr. I may need to strengthen my resolve more? Not easy at times.

I also have to arrange to order the materials to be able to start my own conversion of the artists design who is hosting the retreat in Feb 2019 and then finish off my current project. I am enjoying it.

Oh it's started to rain here - we need it! I love to listen to the rain ☔️ Now I have to learn to dance in it. Have a great day @Bunniekins - will be back tonight to see how you are all going 💜
