Something’s not right

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Hi @Shaz51,

I'm doing okay. Overworked in a job I hate on minimum income, really bugging me lately. Tired of being poor and tired to be honest but at least I have my health. How are you?

Hello @patrickT

Thank you so much for the wonderful supportive post. It made my day reading it.

I am better now but still do have circumstances that are trying and I can have my relapses. It's good to know there are others out there that care and can relate; are there when I reach out. Hope to see more of your posts here @patrickT.

I noted you are in a job you are unhappy with at the moment. It's hard when jobs are scarce for choice. Is there any chance of attempting another career path in the near future? I hope your weekend will be a good one for you where you can take time out and enjoy activities and those that are nearest and dearest. Thank you for your kindness 😊

Oh wow @Maggie - just when I thought you could not trump your locus flower lyrics - this one did. I can't tell you how much this spoke to me. You could of been writing it for me - others would relate as well I am sure. I loved it. Uncanny as I had some not so good moments yesterday evening and this helped lift me. "that tiny spark it sure does glow and together we're are a fire spreading warmth to one another". This spoke volumes - it's what it's all about. Please keep digging into that box 📦 😄

My spirits are mostly good. I am trying to enjoy the current peace before we discover what is ahead of us at my husband's specialist appt on Nov 1st and another Nov 2nd. What I have learnt from my previous breakdown years ago is to live in the moment and not look ahead. As otherwise it will overwhelm triggering a relapse. So I am making the most of it presently. I did have a wave of depression hit last night but I past rode it. It was extremely painful and can hit out of the blue - most likely trigger by watching my husband suffer. He isn't well.

Your home inside out is shaping up to be beautiful - a real sanctuary. I think this is so important...I will do the same when I move. Although I enjoy my home it has too many bad memories now (as did my old username). A fresh start is beckoning. Your loungeroom curtains sound gorgeous. Any chance of a pic when they are up? I use to have a floral lounge and similar decor in my previous farmhouse. It produces a warm, homely ambiance - good memories. Can't wait to see yours 😊

How did it go with the visitor yesterday? Did you ever find out why she was gardening so late at night previously? I hope you managed to get some laughs and fun times in with her - it's good for the soul 🌹Have you any plans for the weekend?

I am still cleaning and have to head up the road. Will be back on later tonight. Lots of love always xxx

@Shaz51 - hi, how are you feeling today. How is your mum and hubby? How is your health holding up? Thinking of you.

Hello @soul@CheerBear - how is your weekend shaping up? What are your plans for it?

@Former-Member You do know how to build a person up. Thankyou for your sincere encouragment, it really keeps my spark keep burning, that's for sure.

I'm sorry the storm hit last light, it seems the winds can come in from all directions and really knock us about. I find to bunker down in a comfy spot until it passes, and it does pass. I know the specialist appointments are looming and fears building, all I can say is we are here with you. Sometimes writing things down can help, it gets it out of our minds into a better place to sort through.

Oh @Former-Member the visitor.... I won't fill your thread with my woes, but ......woe is me is all I can say.

Once I have the curtains up I will proudly display them. It's exciting pulling it all together, something you yourself might be doing this time next year, fingers crossed for that one.

I hope as you head up the road you might stop off for a coffee, a bit of self care.

Thinking of you, warm wishes.

Hi @Former-Member (and all here) 😊

I'm sorry to hear you face the challenges you do. You seem to have a really helpful attitude towards it - to live in the now and appreciate it as much as possible.

It's the last weekend of school holidays here. I asked the kids what they wanted to do today and their answer was to stay in and chill out. So that's the plan today ☺. It's a chance for me to do some crocheting, which is what I am doing this afternoon. Tomorrow will be the tidying/shopping/organising uniforms etc for the week. Pretty boring weekend really, but I sort of welcome and enjoy boring.

Hope you enjoy your afternoon today 😊

Re: -Enigma-

@CheerBear I can't help myself, but, if you felt like adding a pic of your crochet rug here, I'm sure @Former-Member would love a little Squizzy. Enjoy your chill out day. I have a coffee and feet up, as I've been gardening, weeds everywhere still, but a work in progress.

Re: -Enigma-

Hi @Maggie - I will do that thanks 😊 I hope you enjoyed your feet up coffee and garden time. My crochet time turned into hook down and nanna nap time. It felt good!

Hi @Shaz51 - glad you're feeling a bit better today ☺ I hope you get to the street parade if that's what you want to do 💗
