Something’s not right

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: Over The Edge

Wow .... thank you @Former-Member ...... ❣️ That's really humbling ....

I hold then"peace-maker" position amongst my siblings as a middle child ..... I think that's the way the theory goes ..... but amongst the public marriage debate has emerged an early definition, or translation, of the word "wife" as meaning "peace-weaver" ..... I think that term is iconic and very beautiful, as a concept and as an image.

I might have to try to paint that, but I think there is one Zoe on this forum that would do a better job of that than me ..... I have a gift for realistic translations of images ..... hers is far more impressionistic and whimsical ..... as a true peace-weaver ought to be represented.

Still .... I might give it a go .....

Re: Over The Edge

Hello dear @Maggie

I was very relieved to read that I am not holding you back in any way. I know my life situation can be very complex and intense so that was concerning me somewhat of its effects on you. I should of known better though - being fully aware of the strength of free will and the special connection we do truly have. The last few days my mind has been overwhelmed with mountainous odds and my brain waves would be resembling hurricane Irma presently. Neutrons and protons spinning wildly out of control trying to make some sense of it all. I am all over the place waiting for the dust to settle. Shock is a terrible thing. So hopefully this post will make some good sense.

I also hold close and treasure our connection - one that is undeniable and that will never change, even if the tempest threatens to tear it apart. Thanks to @Faith-and-Hope's intercession and your posts - I started to see that I was not in the best place to be making any decisions of such magnitude. And yes, a tad sensitive at the moment which invoked an overreaction of sorts on my part. Not good. I apologise for that. It's been a rough couple of days but now I am finding my feet again. And the ground feels soft and welcoming. Thank you my friend for your patience and understanding - and your faith in us 😊

You and me are the same in that we never say what we don't mean. As we know the power of words to make or break. Silence being the preferred option - but also speaking up at the right time with honesty and the best of intentions is also an art that bears much fruit I find, which is happening right now. And is healing. I always try to do that but with the inner turmoil taking hold, I was finding I needed a bit of help to express that this time. We have a wonderful little forum going here haven't we? It's a special place.

I am glad you are voicing your thoughts, feelings, wants and needs. I may have inspired it but it's your own courage and inner strength that's making it happen. You took a leap of faith and its taking you to new heights 😊 I am proud of you. Not only have you become special to me as a result but to many on this forum who highly value your presence - your voice.

My husband is out at the moment - even though he is still very unwell he is doing things in the community as I type that is seeking to help the disadvantaged. He is doing great things out there to ease the plight of the poor and down trodden, and he is getting involved those whom can really bring about change - federal and state MPs. So much positive is coming from our tumultuous life. I suppose it's learning to dance in the rain and regardless of the prediction, it's about not stopping until we find the pot of gold.

I can't wait to see the pics of your garden. Love you Maggie ❤️

Yes @Faith-and-Hope - please do give that image a go. As it is will become much more than a concept - it will be a true definition of your soul on canvas. It will be unique and truly remarkable to behold 💜

Re: Over The Edge

@Former-Member pain and suffering affects us and can and does cause confusion. You are doing well under extremely difficult conditions. It's so good to know you are continuing with this thread. I have decided to take a plunge and start one of my own so as not to hijack others as I have done. Putting in on paper atm, so we can visit each other and chat about different things. It's been a busy day for me, this morning my counsellor came as I have a medical appointment tomorrow, then, I will can this person visitor, as she's not an acquaintance nor a friend, so that's how ill describe her from now on. Visitor came and we planted some things in my garden. A star jasmine near the new fence and we have lobelia pansies and I forget the name of the others. I'll discuss things with this relationship once I open a thread.

Your husband sounds like a fine man @Former-Member, getting out there in the middle of his own struggles, sometimes that's what speaks louder than words, actions. My counsellor said that today regarding visitor. If actions don't match words then there's no truth there. Hummmm!!!!

I Took a few pics of some blooms in my garden this morning that I'll follow this post with. I hope you have a peaceful night. Warm hug coming over the Tasman.

Re: Over The Edge

Thanks so much @Former-Member .... I will give it some serious thought .....

I don't have painting things here, and our trip is too short this time anyway ..... but I will have to start thinking about it.

Thank you for your lovely compliments ..... you have more faith in me for this project than I do at the moment methinks .....
