Dear @Former-Member ....
Your writings are not ramblings at all my friend. Neither are they too long, taking up our time. It is an important part of being heard to take the time, and sometimes that means column space, to put out there what it is important to express.
I have a thread on C-forum that I started here with, and there are many long posts over many pages, with very little response, I received "likes" occasionally, and a comment or two, sometimes a long post back, infrequently, but I think that is in part because our situation is a compound of differnent issues, creating a very large, complex issue overall.
Those who have wanted to read it, have. For others it will be too involved, and cause their heads to spin, as the lived experience of it is too foreign, or perhaps too triggering, to really begin a two way interaction, but that doesn't mean they dont care .... and they may read along occasionally to keep up with the thread of my journey "in shallower waters", so to speak.
There is also the case that they see a particular someone, or few someones keeping me company on the journey, and rather just read along that repeat the same sentiments as are already being offered, just communally engaging, not personally beyond their first connection to the thread, which then provides them with notifications.
And we have the option to turn off notifications from each thread. I have never turned off yours. You have been there for me, and I have known that I only needed to speak up more often in this thread, or with a greater amount of information, and you would be right there for me according to your capacity to in the moment.
While I don't want to speak for@Maggie ... she is perfectly able to speak for herself .... it gladdened my heart to see you had such close interaction with each other, and I expect that you weren't at all keeping her from other friends .... it was my impression she was intently interested and supportive of your friendship with each other, and this wasn't challenged or weakened in any way by her loving friendships with others. I think we all have the elastic ability to extend our boundaries to broaden our experiences, without taking away from our core friendships.
That is my perspective anyway, my friend. I would dearly love to see you continue here in the vein you have been, expressing your very complex and trying circumstances, much like me on my C-forum thread, and when and where you have the focus and energy, reaching out in love to others on their most frequented thread or threads.
Most importantly, take care of you. Your own welfare, and that of your husband and daughter, by necessity, remain your highest priority .... and sometimes that means making space for ourselves in the middle of those relationships, as I have had to, in the interests of self-preservation.
Hugs and hugs @Former-Member ..... wishing you gentle healing, always ..... 💜💐💕
