Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: Over The Edge

Why do I keep making people cry @Maggie - you guys aren't the ones looking at my face in the mirror lol

Re: Over The Edge

No sleep @Maggie - you now how it goes - close my eyes etc. etc. Toby was snuggled in with me and started licking the water off my face - little sweetheart So it looks like another one of those afternoons/nights - same old, same old. You might have a whole thread full of writing to read after tonight

Re: Over The Edge

@Zoe7 My fur baby lets me cry in her fur and never complains. Your sincerity makes people cry @Zoe7 and we know the cost it takes with all you are going through. I haven't slept in two years and get desperate at times. Meds don't work either. I have memories coming in different ways to yours. Because I have DID I'm retriving my life, but it comes like a slide show. You get the picture and piece it all together. Yours must be awful, reliving he whole thing. I've asked why so many times, with no answers what so ever. How could another human being or others do these things and walk off Scott free.

Re: Over The Edge

Nah @Maggie - I'm gonna go with you all must see what I see in the mirror lol

I don't have any answers either Maggie. I know it is so much harder having multiple 'things' to deal with and they often come all at once. That gets really confusing and that is when I lose my sense of reality and became more unsafe. I completely understand the no sleep - I have pretty much got a maximum of 4 hours sleep on some nights for over 20 years - so this is not new to me

Re: Over The Edge

Well done @Zoe7 I wish I could help @Maggie like that, you have a gift. She is good in your hands and that brings me untold joy as she is special as you are. Keep going. I will concentrate on fun creative writing (not professional, just enjoying the writing experience) and will focus on a new thread under enjoying time with other and let this one fold (I will ask for its removal); and will initially focus on the writing site and see how she goes.

I am pretty good in myself now and if I have the occasional Crisis the worry room is always there. Have a wonderful day all ❤️

Re: Over The Edge

I was just about to respond to your post on the other thread - leaving my longest response to last. I will head back over there and it will be waiting for you when you return @Former-Member

Re: Over The Edge

Please do not leave this space @Former-Member - I look for you here and you and Maggie have formed such a beautiful bond. It would make me feel like I was treading on your toes here and that is definitely not what I would want to do. Maggie needs you - you have been so wonderful supporting her and vice versa - even if it is just the occasional update - please, please don't go completely from this thread.

Re: Over The Edge

Oh no @Zoe7 - you are not treading on my toes at all. I am a free fiercely independent spirit whom has grown much in strength, and what is important to me is people such as @Maggie receive the right care. You are a gift my friend to others whom suffer depression. I have always said that. I an happy to step back as others welfare is the priority.

My strengths lye elsewhere as and I will pursue that in my volunteer work and in the outside world where I thrive. I will pursue also my writing. I will still also meet new member here on Sane to welcome and give advice if asked as I have come along way.

I will ask for the removal of this thread eventually and start a writing one. The writing may last or it may not depending on interest but At least I gave it a shot. I won't attach personally again though - that was a mistake and I should of known better from past experiences.

If I have a real crisis there is always the worry room haha. I will be fine my friend and will keep spreading my wings where there is a need. So worry not and keeping doing the good work you do. It's special as you are. You are worth your weight in gold. You are a beautiful person. I love you.

Goodbye all. Thanks for the friendship and support. All my love always. OTE

Re: Over The Edge

You have discussed starting the writing group here before and I was really interested in joining you. So please let me know if you do because I think there would be alot of interest @Former-Member

Re: Over The Edge

I can say with absolute certainty @Former-Member that what you do here really does matter. If you can look all the way back to when I first joined - you were one of my 'guiding lights' - and then after 'that night - you were also one of the ones that picked me up, held me close and walked all the way through with me. What you do here does more than matter my friend - it can change lives Even when you are not here, or I don't see you , I always know you are in the background - an angel watching over me - and that brings me both comfort and hope. You are a beautiful soul @Former-Member and it is a privilege to have you as part of my life
