Something’s not right

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: Over The Edge

@Former-Member I'm so sorry to hear about your husbands latest tests. That really is a blow and would certainly knock you around and drain your strength. I have no idea about happiness @Former-Member it seems if a moment comes through that brings a smile or relief, that's happiness. I'm reduced to the very small things.

My day was filled with the fence going up. A great job there, fur baby is safer, I also feel safer. I then planted some sweet peas and cornflowers. I'm trying to keep my mind off my friend....did I say friend....I have that wrong. I'm unwell and my resources are low, I don't know how I will handle her when she comes with more she wants done. I'll deal with it when it happens.

I got lucky with my counsellor. When the mental health gave up an acquaintance made an appointment for me, and here we are. Yes the bottom is out of our whole health system down here, mental health help doesn't seem to exist. I was always put in the too hard basket, hopeless, it's hard labels to shake.

Your story sounds good. If you can keep the motion going it might help with how you are feeling. I'm heading out to the post office shortly to get some money out. It's beautiful weather here atm. We manage 14/16 most days, and the sun is shining. I'll try to stay upright. Lol.

Im sending warm thoughts your way.

Re: Over The Edge

Hi @Maggie

Just another slap in the face from someone I trusted and my daughter is in abuse mode. I told these people I am entirely over their abusive bad behaviour and if daughter and the other keep soing it I am quite happy to have nothing to do with them as I am tired of being a door mat at heir whim. Just had enough and voiced it. Daughter used the "don't visit me when I move scenario to which I replied", "Fine, up to you". As I am not putting up with Shit anymore.

So ething else my hubby down that I made clear for the first time I will no longer put up with (story I will go in later), but he was apologetic and all is good there. I think I have become a person I won't let anyone mess without again and will make That clear to them

Thats why it's so refreshing having good caring people like you in my life. Sorry for the vent as the last thing I want to do is upset you. Hope your day will be a good one ❤️

Re: Over The Edge

@Former-Member Your post is timely for me. Struggling with the doormat syndrome and being slapped in the face. As @Zoe7 said, so proud of you. WTG girl. My friend is giving me the silent treatment for something, in my opinion, she did. I'm ready to launch into full flight with this, but you have enough on your plate right now. If your daughter wants it like that, W. E. L L.....I said to my counsellor about my whatever she WAS.. S@@t happens. Obviously in full flight here in tassie. What are you doing for the rest of the day??? The not coping thread are enjoying a few laughs donuts and wait for it. RED cordial...... I'd love to have a coffee with you right now, so how about we sit in my back yard, which has a nice fence now, and have one??? High five to you.

Hi @Maggie

Not all all @Maggie Launch Into to full flight with this - I am all eyes and not in a fragile state at all. Actually quite the opposite. Please do share your thoughts. I am listening and it can't hurt 😊

Re: Over The Edge

Well @Former-Member i probably should put it in the walk away thread, but I would like a listening ears. Saturday morning 8.30 am. Picked up with dogs while acquaintance had some stuff pumped in her face, can't remember what it's called. I was happy sitting in the van with the dogs for the hour, that's normal. Then she had to do this and that which was only going to take 5. Well 12.30 still sitting, pacing the car park actually. Dogs had a five minute break. After that I sat her dog til 8pm at my flat, still no problems apart from my own battles with hanging on to life at that point. I had contacted my counsellor who said she would ring. She did, but my acquaintance was there so I said, can't talk now. Here's where it gets interesting, goes off the rails. She picked up her dog and stormed out. I actually sat and said to myself, did that just happen, or am I paranoid. I went with the paranoid as it's always my fault!!! My counsellor rang and we talked things through and she said, I think it did actually happen, she stormed out ok. She hasn't been in touch since. Am I over reacting, well I didn't actually react, there I go, it's my fault. It's always eggshell walking, I'm always invisible. I know it's my fault for not standing up to her but she can cut you down to a midget in a second. I need a backbone sale. Hummm.

Re: Over The Edge

@Maggie me again

I think your so-called friend needs to visit The Wizard of Oz and borrow Scarecrow's brain, Tin Man's heart and then face the Lion who now has the courage to tell her to bugger off!!!

You are definitely not over-reacting - she is 100% at fault here - what more can you do and then be treated so badly - not even worth wasting a thought on her Maggie. Even though it isn't quite the same as irl - we see how wonderful you are and how much you have to give - and she does not deserve to have someone so special in her life.

Re: Over The Edge

@Zoe7 You made me cry. Thank you for you words, they are more than words, I know that. If only forumland friends were In rl wouldn't life be wonderful. I thought you were sleeping? Did the red cordial keep you awake? Lol. Thankyou so much, so much.
