Something’s not right

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

@outlander Maybe Bella will get some irl support and learn from the stories of support on the forum. It is really hard when we dont always know a person has left the foum. It leaves questions, but its important you dont take it personally.

@Former-Member It is such a complicated world for the young to find their way. They have to make their own mistakes to find their own way... including money, people, and self direction.

We still have legal stuff outstanding, but my son is back into his music and understudying a role, which is a boost to his self esteem. I am going out on the weekends and socialising and life is unfolding nicely atm.

Ha ha ... about the tradie/tekkie - bedroom moment. lol

Best wishes with all the housing stuff.

Yes a few friendly people dotted here and there ... can save people's lives, shift things, make life more bearable.

We all have pain, and cant always know ALL the consequences of our actions, but yes I am sure that positive feedback helped. In my life I have drawn on many random encounters to develop a positive notion about humanity ... if I had only focussed on the negative I would have drowned.

Take Care

I just think her daughter's situation was out of her hands and she did not want to burden us with it, but I feel she is going through a lot.

I am going away for a night, so wont be online. Just letting you know so you dont worry.

Re: -Enigma-

Hi @Appleblossom and @outlander and all who are reading 👋

I resonated so well with "if I had only focussed on the negatives I would have drowned". How true is this. @Appleblossom - so many times I struggled to come up for air and "it's very frightening and distressing"- I know it well, but looking for the good and feeling that true compassion within is what strengthened and saved me. And the love of my husband. Together with the kindness and compassion of some others. The latter is few and far between in this world now but can save lives - so I pay it forward with even more gusto. Now for me, that is keeping me grounded with purpose enabling me to move forward.

My social life, exercise and personal interests have taken a back seat and suffered due to all my selling, preparing and moving commitments. I feel that void, but once we have settled into our new home will seek to rectify it. And that should help make life more whole.

Connecting with others in a positive way is just so important. Together with having faith and also believing in myself - all the latter coming together connects the mind, body and spirit making us whole. Yes, so true, we do live and learn and that is what I am discovering. It takes resilience, enlightenment and fortitude with passion to will it - something it sounds like you are/have discovered. It creates inner strength to overcome. I am so happy for you. I am getting there too.

So wonderful to read that life is unfolding nicely for you and your son - you sound in such a good place. Focussing on the positives has paid off - and your personal courage and choice to step out and make that good happen. I know how hard that can be when depressed. You have risen above that dark place against the odds - that's inspiring and helps others. Thank you.

I have always thought that a life lived with courage and compassion is a life well lived. That thinking has seen me through some very dark times. If I focussed on all the negatives, the attacks, hurts and betrayals - I wouldn't be here. And that would of been on certain others that disturbed my life - some unintentionally, others intentionally. Everyone sees this in the mirrored reflection in the end. That why I always strive to have a free conscience. Inner peace for me is prosperity. When we refuse to see this, all we do is hurt ourselves in the end.

When others see the above negativity anywhere they will usually move away from it for self preservation - seeing it as counterproductive. And usually will not say anything out of fear of negative repercussions. When mental health is involved this is usually even more likely unless they become stuck with faulty perception. The latter is dangerous then. Unfortunately I tend to put my head on the chopping board because of this as I don't want to see anyone hurt.

Wow, I am opening up here, something I have not done for awhile. So much insight and intuition/wisdom comes with life experience if we honestly look within with humility.

Enjoy your evening away and enjoy your life my friend. Sending warm thoughts to you all @outlander@Adge@Former-Member@NatalieS@oceangirl. And wherever Bella is on her journey I wish her and daughter healing and peace. Sometimes it's just time to move on 💖xxx

Re: -Enigma-

Ahh, the joys of housework. Your a better person than me @outlander lol. I am over it. I do like working outdoors more though - use to enjoy that when living on a farm and also attending to my old rose garden. I think I have just been consumed with having my house look like a showroom for too long now. I never want to see cleaning implements again - not for awhile anyway lol. I am a whinger aha. xxxx
