Something’s not right

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

@Former-MemberYou should allow yourself to just breath. You can be kept afloat with breathing exercising I have found. Try to breathe in for 4 seconds out for 6. That is my personal ratio. Yours might be different but the important thing is to find a breathing pattern that is on purpose and works for you and use it. If you do this I think you will find some peace of mind. It is very calming, my shrink taught me about this and it has been very helpful.

Hello dear @Former-Member

I did what you recommended and I really did find it calming throughout my whole body. I will continue with it. The tip came at the right time as my daughter comes home tomorrow and this could be a confronting time for me and a period of readjustment. You seem to know the right thing to say to me at the right time which is comforting. Thank you.

I went out to lunch at one of my favourites spots on the ocean today - walked around the water for about an hour and feel refreshed for it. I love nature and the peace emanating from it. How has your day/night been? How are you travelling?

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-MemberWhat part of Australia are you from? I only ask so that I can research resources for these issues in your area. Just the state and nearest me metro would be helpful. For example when I lived in Australia it would have been Victoria, Melbourne. How about you? Now it would be Oregon, Salem/Portland area.

Hi @Former-Member

I am moving soon - Eastern Sydney on the coastline. It's been a long-term dream that I worked hard for that is finally happening.

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-MemberThat is such a beautiful area. It is super expensive but worth every penny if you can manage it. I love Sydney. Melbourne is and always will be my Australian home but Sydney is a great town too. I hope you find fun and joy in your new home near the beach. One nice thing about living in Sydney is you should have access to just about any intervention that is possible. I know that Sydney is the largest city in Oceania and has over 5 million people in its metro. I live in a far smaller place with only 2.4 million in the big metro north of me and 450,000 in the smaller closer one south of me. Yet I have found every possible intervention I need in this area. Therefore I am hopeful that if I can find all of my interventions in my relatively low population area, you will be able to find every intervention you need in greater Sydney. I will also pray that you have adequate transportation to get you to them. I know they are building a high-speed rail metro system in Sydney soon so that might help as well. In any case, I wish you nothing but the best @Former-Member

Hi @outlander - first chance I have had to come online, been so very busy. Feeling a bit healthier now as my sleep has improved which helps a lot. My daughter comes home tonight - she hasn't been here for awhile. She is wanting to now change careers and study nursing to work in the mental health field. And work part time. Not sure if she will stick with it - only time will tell. Hopefully she will give up her fast lane lifestyle and give life a real go soon.

How are things going for you? Are you feeling better now?
