You would be great for my daughter @outlander - you are more grounded and that would be good for her. Wish it was possible. People she knows take advantage of her presently and their lifestyle choices aren't good. She is a very loyal person and good deep down...she just needs more caring people her age around her. She is a magnet for users.
My Doctor has helped me through some very dark stages throughout my life for over 7 years now. His intentions for my welfare are genuine and trust has been formed there. It took awhile for that type of relationship to develop - he is English and has no family here so he appreciates our support and we his medically. I think opening up to someone takes time and trust has to develop first. And it has to be mutual. It really is not a common type of relationship we have with our doctor I don't think, we are lucky but he is very cari ng with all his patients - with us it just naturally happened over time. I think it's a matter of discerning who we can open up to and trust, and who we can't which usually takes time to work out and nurturing trust. I have never opened up to doctor like the one I have now before.
Hashimotto is very manageable - it's just getting the medication at the right dose for the individual. If that is what is playing up with me it is probably due to the worrying I have been doing over my daughter. For my own good I have to stop, one way I am trying to achieve this is to stay busy. She is prone to severe depression and that is always a concern. Not easy for us but I will have to work out a way. I have to hold onto the belief that somehow she will work it out and a better outcome for all will eventuate. That keeps me grounded for now.
Glad your day went along okay and that you were busy - I find when I am not I overthink which can lead to depression - probably the same for everyone. So busy is good 😊. Did you specialist do some type of physio on your ha d - that will flare the pain up for a few days but should settle for you in time. I am glad you are looking after yourself 😊.
I don't think I will ever change - I am in a place in life where I know what matters and what is important in the end. And it feels fight. It's grief and worry that can derail me at times - that's when I have to really to push. We are all battling something and it's heartening to know that we can help each other along the way. One step at a time - we will do it and all it will all work out somehow 💞
