Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-Member It is very cold here too but dry so is quite wonderful. I love that as I can get out all my nice winter clothes and snuggle up in my dressing gown (which I am about to do right now). Am determined not to get my heaters on until the bitter end... Have been out for coffee with my daughter will probably have another one.

Re: -Enigma-

You are very brave not to put your heater on to the bitter end @Bunniekins. I have had my heating air cond on for about a week now. I have to toughen up a bit I think lol. It is nice to snuggle up in warm PJs towards the evening though - I do love that part. Just hard to get going in the morning brrrrrrr. I like the warmer weather (fair weathered girl aha).

Thats lovely that you got out to share a coffee with your daughter - I like getting out of the house myself. Those moments with family are precious as we never know what is going to happen tomorrow. I ended up going out to where we are building, but it was a waste of time because the people we needed to see were not available. But did enjoy a coffee too with hubby - and the winded salt spray smelt beaut. The cupboards will now have to wait until tomorrow - enjoy he rest of your day x 😊

Hello @outlander - hoping you are doing okay today. Those bad days can be really tough.

Re: -Enigma-

@Bunniekins - I meant to ask earlier what your thoughts were on the volcano eruption that is devastating Hawaii currently? When I first saw it on the news and YouTube films I thought immediately of you as I know your interest and hopes to study in that area. I could not believe the extent of the lava overflow that has made so many evacuate. And they are saying the worst of the eruption may not be over yet.

I think it's always been "brewing" so to speak but to my knowledge it has never erupted to this degree. Do you have any theories are to why it's doing this now? It's such a shame as it is one of the most beautiful places on the earth. We were thinking of moving there to live at one stage - so glad we didn't now.

Re: -Enigma-

@Former-Member I feel for the people who have now lost their homes of course but the volcano's eruption is beautiful. The lava flows are spectaculor. I would love to be there to witness it. It is a once in a life time opportunity. As for theories as to why it is doing it now I would have to give it some thought.... shift in the Earth's crust .... a eruption like this is long over due I am sure.

I am glad you didnt move there either as we wouldnt have your lovely company 🙂

Re: -Enigma-

A shift in the earth's crust for sure, and yes, it probably has been a long time coming. A lot of very unexplainable natural phenomena happening around the world on a much higher level than ever previously. Like here we keep having "record temperatures" each year - I was wondering if there was a link with this eruption and climate change also.

Would love to hear your further thoughts on it when you have some time to think on it @Bunniekins. I find it fascinating like you - but also feeling like you - it is tragic people have lost there homes. I may be wrong, but I think this forum is globally accessible - I know there are quite a few Americans who post. So would of still been around Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on this - thanks for replying 😊

@Former-Member Hi -Enigma- it could be global warming .... definately there is a reckoning coming .... global warming plus too many people on the planet, mass animal extinctions world wide .... something has to give .... wont be in our life time but probably our children's. It will not be pretty that is for sure.

Re: -Enigma-

What I have read from expert climate scientists it will be catastrophe as you say - and yes, in our children's and/or their children's time. Very sad indeed. It is causing havoc to weather patterns and agricultural now. Causing much environmental damage and to our food change. Yes, with the build up of man made pollution something is definitely giving and will get worse if not addressed. Very sad for our children's future - not fair.

Hope your day is going well. I am doing some letter writing and then the cupboards will definitely be done after that! Then off to my volunteer work tomorrow. Have a good day @Bunniekins 😌

Re: -Enigma-

Hi @outlander

Thank you thinking of me my sweet. Good to see a post from you - hope today is going okay for you and that you are feeling a bit better.

We are visiting my friend who has come home from hospital - he had a miraculous turnaround his specialists are saying. So hopefully that will continue. My brother is visiting on the weekend and we will go out and celebrate my husband's birthday ( which is today). I have been incredibly busy, but that's nothing new. Yesterday at the shop went well - but am feeling a bit tired. My gusto usually picks up throughout the day.

My daughter is having some issues again.....one day at a time for now with that. She needs to make wiser choices if she is to better her life. The creep is bringing her down.

I have been thinking about you wondering how you are going. I can appreciate that these things can take a bit to work through but please know we are here on the sidelines cheering you on and I am here for you whenever you need to talk. Sending a warm hug your way 🤗
