@CheerBear I think we may need to organise some 'keep lj occupied while her kids are not with her' activities (if I can manage it) - what do you think - SPP branches out into School Holiday Fun (SHF)?

I will somehow shake this negative mood i'm in today......
But you know sometimes I think it would have been better to battle on and not receive treatment as my life is now reduced to taking medication, putting up with stigma, reduced employment options/poverty and ridicule due to the whole six degrees of separation and lack of privacy. What a bunch of heartless gossipping losers.
I will go for a walk to clear the mind i suppose...put on a brave face and pretend to be "recovering". How you recover from something that has no cure i don't know. How you have a meaningful life with the illness minus poverty i don't know either. It chose me this illness. I didn't choose it. I wish it would just disappear.

Hi @Vanessa5 I so get the whole gossipping - lace of privacy stuff. A while ago something happened and my information and diagnosis stuff was printed in a few newspaper articles. i did not know how to get through it at the time and i was absolutely devastated. There are still some people who i think look at me through a lens of something to do with that, but mostly (i can only hope) i've shown most people that i'm capable at my job at least... Though its also doubled the pressure i put on myself to always appear good.. helpful, above and beyond things, though i know the depression leaks through at times still too.
I really want to go for a walk today too, but its raining. Starting to wonder if a walk in the rain would be so bad really.... Mr Dog keeps running to his lead and nudging it whenever i go near where it's hanging....

Totally get it with the holidays LJ. Would be mixed feelings for sure. I've got some really funny ones happening these holidays too (different reason but I think same sort of stuff really). My house can resemble a circus (2, 3, 5, 25 - I don't think it matters sometimes lol).
