I always wonder what it would be like to be an only child. My sisters are very strict.. They parent me more than my parents at times. And try to find any single fault.

Ha ha @Former-Member, I had 18 cousins living in the same town when i was growing up
and then when i was 12 mum and i left dad as he was mentally abusing me , I was soo skiny and sick that we left and lived with my uncle and aunty who had 4 children around my age

So you definitely had company. It sounded like a good decision to leave your Dad around that time. Must have been hard for you. So - they were very much close.
I still don't know or can ration why my Mother hasn't left my Dad.. Although I think it is very much due to my siblings and financial reasons - they are very much left in the unknown.

Yes @Former-Member, I think my mum would of stayed with dad too , but because it was affecting me soo much , and it was harder to leave back then because mothers never got any financial support at all

@Shaz51 Definitely - it's difficult. My Dad still deeps hurts and affects me till this day but it is something I have to live with.. and he has to live with.
