Hi @outlander
I hope you are in a safe place today - not ideal of course - but better than living under so miuch tension at your house
I don't know what GAD is - I can look this up and I will - maybe it's General Anxiety Disorder
I really don't know about all of these disorders - maybe some just need a name - in your case you do need to have a name for your emotional chaos - which is driving you into a worse place and I think it was @Former-Member who said it's better to get onto all of this when you are young rather than have it get worse with years
And Flower - I am glad you are better with your new psychologist rather than having one "drag out the sessions then give you stacks of homework" - I know you have been through the grinder as well
Thinking of both of you - what you wrote was great Flower

Deep breathes @outlander
One small step at the time. I know it is scary the things they will say, the fact that you are worried or scared they call your mum but have a think about the benefits as well if you do go.
Here lending a hand or 2 to hold as you walk in...if you need ![]()

Hi @outlander
You are of legal age so it's no legal for the psychologist to reveal things to your mother - so when you see the psychologist make this plain -
Although if you give them permission then they will - so it is your choice
My son was 16 and even at that age there was a right of disclosure - and I could speak to his therapist's secretary or nurse or whomever and all I got was a flat "No" - they never did reveal anything - which made it harder to help him - but then - he was really hard to help regardless
So - start - make it plain.
You have been brilliant so far at doing things that scare you to the point of total freaked-out - I know the feeling well - but you will do this. You are tenacious - your health is vitally important to you
You are fantastic - you really are
I'm having my hair cut then seeing my tax accountant - the hair-cut happens every few weeks - the tax accountant - sheesh - it used to be simple and I did my own - all my life - I have never had to see an accountant before - except I was an accountant and worked in a office full of accountants
So - I will be around - and we can both do something we would rather not
Thinking of you

Hi @outlander
That is really terrible - it's theft
You could have them charged for that - but it would be a case of who said what
But you can threaten them with getting them charged - they had no right at all to take your tablets - and in fact - this is dangerous
It's against the law to take someone else's tablets - it says inside most packs that those tablets are presribed for you and no one else - and I guess "taking them" could mean either actually having the medication themselves or stealing them.
Both are wrong and it's really bad
