@outlanderI hardly sleep these days even with sleeping meds, they just don't help. I understand the nightmares sis, it makes it very hard to go to sleep knowing what is coming.

Its taken me a yr to get to this point. I only had nigjtmares about 5 outof the 7 days and i could recover from them. These ones really knock me every night. I feel tired and ive got paddock to clean tomorrow but I just don't want to sleep yet

@outlander you're in a safe place hun. Nothing can hurt you. I know they're scary, buts it's your anxiety messing with your mind. That doesn't make it less real, or less frightening. But don't give in to those dark thoughts. Try to go to sleep thinking I'm safe, I'm ok, nothing can hurt me. The past is the past, it can't hurt me anymore. My future doesn't have to be like this.

@outlanderif the night mares come then ground yourself sis. Put your feet on the ground, feel the carpet at your feet, have you got a script you read?

I read this at about 3 this morning after yep guessed it a nightmare. I have no idea where this one come from. It was related to the dog. I cant write it on here though wouldnt for the guidelines.

@outlandersis sorry to hear about your nightmare, hopefully you were able to get some sleep after that, however I know how hard that is to do after you have been woken this way. Big hugs hun 💜💜
