@outlander,can understand when I had three cuts to the scalp area 6 years ago,it was traumatic,but I also worried because it was on my face,but it healed.It shows you survived and came through it.Try not to let anything worry you tonight,grab the respite.

I know im trying not to @Former-Member @Former-Member but its so right there in front of me and mirrors everywhere. Ill still be here tomorrow but i have to work but ill come back here again.

Try and distract yourself,look at the birthday thread.Its a part of our illness too,I'm going through self hate,and fighting thoughts eg:tried shirts on last week in a store,and all of a sudden I seen how ugly I am to myself.

@Former-Memberits so dreadul having so much self hate isnt it. i dont bother trying on clothes anymore either.
@Former-Memberi know ive got my forum party going on and i want to be there jsut struggling to keep myself together. ill try and go there and see if it helps

@outlander,in times of severe distress and depression I have found myself sitting in front of a mirror for a fair time,just staring at myself,as a form of psychosis.The more you think about that scar,or focus on it,like the dog attack etc,it is taking your energy and control of your mind.

@outlander I'm here sweetheart. Was having dinner. I know it was probably scary to see, but your scar will heal and fade. It's your battle wound that you've fought and survived.

@Former-Memberim sorry that happens to you too. i dont generally do that im afraid the mirror will break. there is 4 of them in in the hotel room!
@Sans911thanks sis. i know itll fade but i havent seen the entire thing until now. ive seen bits of it like the part thats stick out of my singlet but this time the whole bloody bathroom is a mirror i swear! and i turned and seen the whole thing. i couldnt look away
