Hi @outlander
I don't mind watching over - I feel like the kind wise owl of legend - being gentle is natural to me -
And about the gory stuff - I watch Criminal Minds and true crimes series on TV - not that I am into crime but rather the solving of it - if I had been able to study medicine which had been my choice but not my chance - having to leave school when I was 16 - I would have liked to have been a forensic pathologist
Yes - I know - that is not the same in real life as in fiction - but I love picky stuff when it comes to work - what they call protocol - I am an accountant and that requires the same sort of picky thinking
Stange to write about it here but yes
I had a girl-friend who cried when her cat ate a mouse - to me that is natural and the cat has no scruples - when she was young mine used to catch mice and eat them - cats are good at it and why bother - who wants mice around
I get it though - we can all see something worse - I saw a cat having kittens one - now that's really interesting
Dec - with the colourful past

Thanks @Owlunar
I watch criminal minds, law and order, greys anatomy a heap more crime or health type shows.. I use to watch a show called All Saints with my nan all the time. I havent watched that in a long time though now. Ive got them on dvds but it reminds me a lot of my nana and im not ready to tackle those feelings yet. First yr of grieving for me so everything seems to be harder that way yet. The only thing I cant handle on those shows and thats the kids. Its a major trigger for me so I read the decsription first and if a kid appears to be a victim or involve SA I skip it because I cant handle it.
Ive had to resort to more light hearted things like the big bang theoray and things like mystery diners and cupcake wars and cooking shows atm.
Oh geez, as we have a paddock behind us we get the occasional mice and our dog thinks they are great fun to catch. Shes a chihuaua -god cant spell much! She cant fit in the small areas and throws them around the back yard. Its gross but I suppsoe its way of life. Actually im surprised she can fit in small spaces shes such a porky! Yet shes the same size as a cat lol.
Hmm not much on birthing animals, watched a dog and a horse. Thats enough for me.

Hi @MDT
I could say don't worry about it but you do - so yes - I understand
My brother and I were always thin and as for lanky - I have put on a little healthy weight in later years and it feels comfortable - it really is harder to put on weight than it is to lose it - something people don't really understand
And I am still lanky - and I think it means being tall and having long arms and legs - I never know where to put my arms and legs and my brother always had the same problem - I guess my nephew does too though I rarely see my family
One thing about getting older and I am an old owl now - truly - is that the things that bothered us when we were younger cease to do so. Unkind people say unkind things and it makes me wonder what they get out of it - truly - I think being tall is an advantage - being thin is okay
So if people call you Lurch - think whatever Addams family name you can think of - like Fester - too much hair - Cousin Itt - having strange preferences - Wednesday - overweight - Pugsley - you don't have to say it - just think it and try and not let it get to you
Seeing as I grew up surrounded by tall men it is not an issue to me - as I said before - a person has to be really tall before I see it - then I might have to look up but I wonder - yes - I wonder
If you can think less about what other people are thinking it will be easier because I can tell you what they are likely to be thinking - that they are thinking what they think is their short-comings - not about your height
Doing all that exercise is good for you now and even better for you in the future - when you feel bad reflect that you have to be pretty bright to get into university - the years I spent studying were really great and at the time the rest of my life was in tatters
I think you are okay - you connect with people well here
