Re: when is it time for hospital

It seems like you've thought this through as much as you can @outlander and that facing it today is right for you. The waiting for something scary to happen always unsettles me too.

Big hugs. You've got this

(Love the new look by the way!)

Re: when is it time for hospital

That's great @outlander

I am taking my cat to the vet this afternoon but I will be reading my phone to see how you are - and I will be thinking of you the whole time

I'm glad you are seeing your GP and that you will be telling her what's going on - this will be a time to let out some of the tension before you start

But stick to the plan with your mother - I think looking after the kids and having so much responibility is the hardest part - it seems to be - so to control the conversation with your mother stick to the one point - and stay with the one idea and return to I FEEL because that is something she is so wrong about

I really care about this Outlander

Re: when is it time for hospital

The anger i had the other day is welling back up before i lost my stuff after the psych session. I gave a few hints abit about this morning. Not sure if she got those hint. Then abit coame up this morning just now around mums bf and i think he knows im not happy because i spoke abit of my mind. Yeah well most parents work on weekends its a part of life. I growled at him and left. He's got it coming too. I dont use anger much at all. I am usually cool not hot headed but nope not today. I dont know how this arvo is going to go but its coming and im not dreading it anymore.
Its just really shown me how much he give a shite. Not anymore!

It's great that you're listening to yourself there @outlander and knowing that thinking about this anymore isn't helping you.

Hope the GP appointment goes well also

Re: when is it time for hospital

Hi again @outlander

The bf has got it coming - and he is a nothing - a big verbal bully - I could use bad language but my English will serve -

Anger has served me Outlander - I have not had an easy life and yet I have survived it so aggression does have it's place - so about anger

If we have anger and push it down then it turns into depression and makes us sick - and you have been very sick during the last few weeks and worse that very sick in the last few days since you saw your therapist and let it go - and cried so much I am sure you thought you would never stop

So - growling at the bf - good - it let some of the anger out because that anger is in the way of your talking to your mother calmly and making your point without getting angry

So - if anger is necessary - then anger is what it is - your emotions at the situation you have been forced into

So most parents work weekends do they? Amazing - I know I did - at times - as did my ex-h - and my father - but both the bosses in your household working all weekend and leaving the minor children in your care - that's just their easy way out

That's not your problem - none of what goes on with the other members is not your problem

Your problem is to find your way out of being the victim in all of this

And I will keep telling you because it's important that your remember - you are the victim here - not the cause of all the crap - and you deserve better - much better - than you have been getting

@outlander

Hi hun,

I know you are going through a really hard time and my heart goes out to you. I have said this before but you DO NOT need to say you are sorry. This is a place where you should be able to get out what you need to. It is a safe place for you. We all understand in one way or another and I myself would rather you blurt it out on here, say what you need to say, instead of keeping it bottled up inside of you.

I hope you can talk to your mum this afternoon. I know it won't be easy for you but you have all of us here for support and hugs and to help you.

Take care hun

Nell
