It's definitely ok to step back from anywhere at any time @outlander. Even the heavier threads that you feel you're committed to now, though I understand how important it feels to be there for people you care about.
Is there a rush to get up? Feeling drained and exhausted sounds like it's your body's way of saying it is time to rest. You'll get up, you always do, but if you don't have to push it, maybe it's worth riding it out in bed for a while.

Re: when is it time for hospital
I know @CheerBear i have learnt went to step back now. I still het caught out alot but im getting better at identifying the right times to step back. I find if im having trouble coping with any thread or the content ill just go offline until it passes. I dont like to leave unless i know that person has at least another memeber supporting them.
No not really i can stay in bed for abit longer. Ill get up soon anyway as im not comfortable laying here. So may as well get up and move to the lounge where i doubt anything good will be on tv but at least im up. Might be able to colour in for abit but the location of the sutures restricts its almost goes under my arm

Re: when is it time for hospital
It's all a learning process @outlander and it sounds like you're doing a great job with it. I learn by experience best I think. It doesn't matter how many times I am told, or I hear something, or I 'get' it in my head, it takes for me to experience something to truly learn from it most of the time. It's been no different here for me as well. It can be a hard way to be sometimes, but I think it really can give us a level of understanding (about ourselves/about others/about the world etc) that helps us in a big way.
My middle is the same and I know the pain they're going to face in life haha 😉
"Good" and "tv" haven't seemed to be two words I've used together for a while. "Good" and "netflix" however... 😛
Limited range of movement would make things hard. I wonder whether there is something on your phone to do while you ride it out. Puzzles/colouring in/crossy road (shudder). Maybe you could have a go at a crossword on the crossword thread? I found it really fun (was great having you along last night too).

Re: when is it time for hospital
@CheerBear i think i learn from experience the best as well. I have many learning experiences on here but its made me better for it and been made more self aware as well. Haha shes not too bad but its just one person less in the house. I know that sounds bad but id rather her out having fun. Alot of her friends went on holidays this time we usually go away too but things happen and well i needed surgury as well so im glad we didnt go away. I dont have netflix i just watch movies thay we have. I have heaps of games on my phone but i dont like being onmy phone all the time. Might go and buy a findaword book. Might be able to colour in and draw. Itll becomr abit easier after a week until then just have to do the best i can with what i can And i had fun last night too Hope you have a good day too. Do something nice for you ❤❤

Re: when is it time for hospital
Thanks @outlander. It's a while off being finished but I do love it 🙂
Mixed feelings with school holidays ending here. I have enjoyed having them home heaps, but I've had them home for nearly 3 weeks as they tag-teamed being sick for a week before it began. I also have stuff to face again once they go back (like the house ugh). In saying that, I like our routine a lot and don't like there being a constant stream of mess to tidy.
I can see why relief is a feeling you'd have though! I guess being that these are actually my kids, makes it a very different experience for us 😉 !
Try and go easy and gently please!
X

Re: when is it time for hospital
Yes there is a difference there @CheerBear I like spending time with them but not as their mother. I want to be able to plan special days with each of them as a treat but im always with them and doing what would normally be a special day out like going girl shopping and having lunch out i do all the time so its not so special anynore.
