Hi @outlander
I'm glad you went to bed early last night and I really do hope you slept - as uncomfortable as it must be having 8 stitches in your back or your shoulder right now
I only want to sleep on my right side so I get it that maybe you can't find your right place in bed but after all that work you did yesterday and I just realised - had to pick your sisters up from the baby sitter and drive them home - even driving could be tough stuff right now
But really an outlet for you - I really understand that
So - because we all really care about you here - and because you do not want to pull your stitches - please take your pain medication when it's time rather than wait for the sore places to get agro and rest today - let the chores go or get your older sister to pick up behind herself at least
And I do know that you like the place around you clean and tidy but I believe your mother is around until the weekend at least - let her do some work for a change
And take things easy - if necessary go and listen to your music in your car - I know this will be hard for you but it is really important to do this
And yes - I am sure you know - this is one of your spare Granmas talking - and Granmas can talk too much - I know - I had two myself who constantly told me what I knew already and stuff I didn't know actually
Gentle hugs
Dec

good morning @MDT getting there. will be a tough few dyas but hopefully as it all starts to heal itll be easier to manage.
@Owlunar i went ot bed early yes but i didnt sleep much. i couldnt get comfortable at all and a few times i rolled onto them and botled upright because of it
ill have to take things very easy today esp until i can get to the shops to get pain releif and yes your right even driving becaue i have to reachout with my rihgt arm which pulls them which in turn casues pain. i can drive one handed though so i can if i want to.
i didnt get my sisters from babay sitters yesterday. mum did and it was a family memeber and they were havig fun so they stayed there abit longer.
mum is home today and helping with chores and clenaing up. the house wont be so bad as pop has jsut told me he will be going away for a few days with his brother and friend from thursday until sunday. hes getting better now and ive made up his tablets in those containers that have the days of the week and the times to take them so i know he will be set up that way and also checked the weather and helping him pack according plus a few extra things jsut in case the weather changes etc.
i know you guys care here, i really appreciate it. your family here, blood isnt what makes family its those who stick by you through thick and thin i dont want to destroy the work done yesterday so im trying to be very careful. the sleeping parts going to be the hardest. at least with a physical thing like sutures its actually visible so i dont get into trouble as much. i will still helpw ehre i can such as the dishes and cooking as it doesnt really require too much extending etc but washing not so much.
thank you for those hugs and watching over. i really do appreciate it ![]()
