Thank you @Owlunar - a beautiful post. My rountine is slow now too because of injuries - any achievement with routine seems to make me feel better. Very inspiring to read that you are happier as the years pass despite chronic pain - its wonderful when we find fulfilment and growth in a peaceful environment. How were you injured? Some injuries do rearrange our lives in a big way -

Living in a peaceful environment is everything - I only have myself and my companion cat to please - of course my journey here has not been without adventures but it is easier to live without someone wanting me to stop what I am doing to please them - and I can report that life -or my life - is much easier in the later years

I found that thread and read quite a bit there - and my thoughts about the abuse and how it happened were correct - and in no way are you to blame here - either in what you did or what your said or what you felt

What happened to you is called EMOTIONAL EXTORTION and it is a crime and that person should have been charged with offences for doing that - at 16 you are still under age

So I get it why you never told your mother - and now that has really wrecked you life but please remember what I said to repeat to yourself

You are not to blame - it was not your fault - you didn't cause any of this

I wonder a whole lot about your mother having unrelated males in the house with three young females - it seems all wrong to me - really bad - no wonder you are so concerned for your sisters

But you are worthwhile - I know you work hard and very little you do is appreciated - things should be so much better for you
