I took a sleeper and it's affecting me pretty quickly @outlander Tagging @Former-Member to sit with you. I rarely take them but have been hyper for a few days and need to catch up on sleep. I will check in with you when I am awake in the night (always happens).

Hi @outlander and everyone else. Popping in and I know I have missed a whole lot. Outlander doesn't help when your family is negative and unsupportive especially when you need be cared for. You are worth something, you are not worthless my friend. Big hugs 💕💕💕

I'm here to say Good night Claire

I was wondering if you had a Teddy Bear or something you could put an 'S' on, the 'S' would stand for SANE and that Bear could be a symbol for all your friends here on the Forum. . . a physical link sort of thing.
Sending you love and hugs, hoping you sleep peacefully XxX

@outlander I feel so upset for you about your situation. It's so bloody unfair. I know you are a carer for your Pop but if I was in your boots I'd be out of there. I left home when I was just 17 and managed to get by in share housing with people not much older than me. Of course I needed a job as absolutely no support from anyone but my life was so much better than it had been at home. Your mother is using you as her slave in my opinion and when it gets to the point of stopping you from getting the medical attention you need then it's abuse. There are organisations that would help you find housing and work out a solution re your pop. Headspace is one for young people. Or your Dr could recommend a social worker. It may take time but I honestly feel it's time for you to have your own life and your mother will just have to step up without your help. I hope you don't mind me saying all this. I care deeply and want only the best for you. Your needs need to come first for a time and only change will make that possible. We could ask the moderators for some contacts for young people if you want to have that discussion about your options. There are also Carer's organizations in every state that can help a lot, including funding respite for you and taking care of your pop's needs while you have the respite. You are of an age (20 I think you said) where you no longer legally need your mother's permission. Or anyone else who is an obstacle to your health needs (like mother's bf). I only want to help as much as I am able to.

I hope I haven't said too much and upset you more @outlander. I tend to take the bull by the horns sometimes. Thinking of you.
