Is your appointment at the hospital? Would you consider going to the appointment but skipping the visit @Determined?
Right now, you sound like you're really over it all. I understand why. We all like to feel appreciated especially when we are "busting our guts" to make things as good as they can possibly be. When that goes unnoticed or even criticised we feel so let down and hurt. We feel nothing we do is good enough, our self esteem goes down the drain.
You are doing an amazing job. Just surviving all this is an epic feat. Don't think for a moment that you are failing.

Appointment is not at the hospital @soul but less than 10 minutes from the hospital. Would look a bit cold and heartless if I went all that way and did not visit.
If mum driving me down bit hard to go down and back without anyone knowing.

The weekend is three days away. Hopefully things will improve by then. The important thing is for you to get enough rest, stop beating yourself up and not worry about how the next time will be just because the last couple of occasions weren't what you had hoped for.
When we get rejected like that, it's hard to make the effort. It becomes a self defeating situation. I won't bother because it's going to be bad anyway. You don't know that. Try to approach it with a smile and a positive attitude. Think about something that the two of you really enjoyed. Perhaps evoke that memory by talking about it, show her some photos. Maybe recreate something that the two of you liked. Bring her a little gift. Watch a comedy or favourite film again Just suggestions @Determined.
Remember the person you fell in love with. I'm not saying that the love is not there at the moment; perhaps it's just hard to like her right now because of the behaviours you see.

It seems like your Mum has witnessed the interaction or lack of. She obviously knows about your Darling's MI and the treatment she is undergoing. I don't think it would be heartless at all if you chose to skip that visit. You need to look after yourself as well @Determined and shouldn't feel guilty about doing that.

Thank you so much @soul
Hate talkig my darling down, feel really bad for doing it, just hurting at the moment. Was worried before all this started she would forget who bub was, seems she has forgotten who I am instead.
Enough negativity from me tonight, thankyou for 'listening' to my ranting and taking the time to respond. Appreciate it a lot. I am going to try and sleep it off now.
Trust all is well as can be for you today.

I hope you get some rest tonight. I'm often about during the evening and into the morning if you need to chat. Don't feel as if you have been critical of your Darling. We know that MI can bring out behaviours that are not truly representative of that person. They don't choose to be that way. Also with the treatment she is having - the fear and anxiety she may be feeling and effects of the procedure itself can manifest itself in unpredictable and undesirable ways.
It is my fervent hope that all this results in a more harmonious and enriching life for you and all your family @Determined

Well that was an effective use of my time,
Just had a big sleep while bub was sleeping rather than making the most of him sleeping and getting somthing done. Now he is awake and I have remembered that there is a load of washing to hang out. 😣
