I persevere @Faith-and-Hope because my darling is so worth it. Besides that, I made a commitment for better or for worse. I have been told many times to give up, but where would that leave her, even more broken and alone.
And even without that I would do it for our children. S2 particularly has a fear of our family being broken apart so I will do everything in my power to prevent that. Every circumstance is different but in our case, while their environment is far from ideal, it is by far better than any alternative.

I woke up early, around 4:30am and mindlessly watched the first two episodes of MasterChef. Here are people who have grand ambitions to one day open a restaurant that will rival the Michelin Star establishments only to be eliminated after cooking their first dish. Haven't watched it since Season 2 but don't think anything has changed. Kind of sad really. Glad that you were able to get some sleep.
Anyway I went on my walk when it was light. As the sun rises earlier these days, it's busier out on the streets. I had a massage a few weeks back @Determined and was in agony because my body was so knotted up. With some chap voucher deals and a therapist who dies a half decent job, it's way cheaper than seeing a psychologist.

@Faith-and-Hope - just wondering if you have another little study corner like that for me? The view is beautiful.

That really sucks that you can't be there for your Darling before and after her treatment. I think they should really access each case individually and it appears that with yours, it would alleviate a lot of stress and surely that would be be a desirable and beneficial outcome.
Hoping you have a better week ahead of you.
