14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

Hi My Angel,

I am ok, i hope you are having a nice day, i hope the girls have something special planed for you, let the girls have their fun, they love you, and just want to express how special you are to them.

Thank you so much for the beautiful image you have given me today, yes i was/am struggling, but thanks to you, my day has been a little more pleasant, sorry i did not respond, mum wanted to go to town, i was shaking so bad and felt dizzy and nauseous the whole day, i suppose a reaction to such a bad night, i still feel a little nauseous, but it is going slowly.

Karen how rude of me to worry you on your special day, i feel so ashamed, please enjoy the day, today is the start of you new life, one without fear, one with nice memories, please focus on the future, don't allow the past to win.

My angel thank you so much for speaking to me throughout last night and today, you are really my best friend, i am so glad i met you, i have never known another person who cares for me so much without making fun of me.

Hi Stan,

Nice to meet you, i wish it was under better circumstances, i am going to look into the web site you told me about, it looks very interesting, thank you for sharing it with me.

I find i have to be honest about my way of life, it is the only way to describe how horrible my existance really is, no words will ever describe how bad it has been, but i try my best to explain it.

Thank you, take care and i hope to speak to you some more.

Karen i will tell you about my afternoon, i was out the back checking on my new little plants, miss piggy was grazing and diggin up the paddock, real proud of herself, the pink little nose, sniffing the air, she was so excited when it was dinner time, the farm hand brought her her dinner, she followed him around the curly tail wiggling away.

The little lambs where doing their afternoon run around the paddock, one would take off and the others would chase, their where lambs flying everywhere, back and forth, the ewe's where looking on, the little calf was eating his hay, and the rooster, oh the rooster, he is just ripe for a sunday roast, everytime he sees me in the yard he crows, every time!!!!!

The minor birds where getting dinner for their little ones, scratching around under the trees for wormes, they where doing really well, i didn't realise i had so many worms in the garden, i just wish they would put the dirt back when they dig it up.

Thanks for sharing J.

I was ok until the appointments this afternoon I'm just spiraling down. At dinner I couldn't even speak.

I hate this rollercoaster of intense emotions. I would given anything to be able to cry. Just a healthy release. I don't want to be like this anymore j it's just too hard
