14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

Oh no, no, no Karen she was not upset with you,she was upset with the other forum for taking you away from me, mum could see how happy i was talking to you, she was upset that i was not able to keep in touch with you, they told me the same thing too, Karen please don't feel like that, mu is so happy we have reconnected, i don't tell her much about our conversations but she said she can see how much i look forward to talking to you.

I am sorry if it worried you that i told my mother about you, she does not know a lot, just that we are friends and that we have a lot in common, thats about it.

Karen please don't be sorry, it was not your fault, mum was going to send a letter to the other forum, but she was worried it may have a negative impact on you and me, so she didn't.

anyway that is the past now Karen, we have reconnected, that is all that matters, i will not let you go again.

Oh my little angel , i could not make a joke, well maybe a "short" one

Well yes, my computer setup is not complete yet, but yes i almost will never have to leave the house, i am hoping to have a full gym, i already have a home theater (purshased when i was 16) and i will have everything here so i never have to go out again, i am even trying to do most of my shopping online to avoid leaving the house, mum is helping me set it all up, so i can isolate myself from the world, i am so excited.

I'm so glad that your mum supported you over that time. I was absolutely gutted that they treated people the way the did. It was so hurtful. I was so concerned about you j. The last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt you.

I was so upset too Karen, they told me you where fine and that they where in regular contact with you, i was so worried about you and for good reason, seeing how you where in the MHU 5 times, the obviously lied, Karen you never hurt me, you never could, you are my guardian angel Karen, you always will be, please remember that in your darkest times.

I will always be here for you. you are my special angel, you will watch over me, i know it.

Hi Jacques

Well I'm finally home....

I'm pretty low because I failed...mum is upset with me for running away, that I will never be strong, weak:(

It's so distressing and overwhelming to have my mum be abusive towards me. It's wearing me down

Hi Jacques! Your story got me rather spooked as it is almost EXACTLY the same as a cuzzie of mine. I hope you can get some contact from this forum.
