What do you do when you arent feeling safe but you dont want to go to the hospital and helplines arent working? Also what do you do when distractions and all of that stuff isnt working either?

Hey Eden1919 we haven't met yet but I've just come across this thread. I'm here and listening to you. My three dogs are sleeping too @Zoe7 and @Eden1919 and I often think how nice it would be to be a dog and be able to just curl up every day and play when I want to and not have a worry in the world! I often find such comfort just holding my dog close when I am going through a really tough time. Do you find this helps at all @Eden1919 ?

it helps sometimes just at the moment i am still really anxious and i dont know what to do i cant take this and i am so so so paranoid i dont know how much longer i can keep going.

Hi @Eden1919 I've seen you around the other threads but I don't think we have spoken before so its nice to meet you. I am sorry you are struggling. I too have a dog, she is a ten year old staffy, and she brings so much joy and happiness to my life. What do you think might help you?

Hey @Zoe7 I'm having a pretty average day but coping with the comfort of my Great Dane. I also have a neopolitan mastiff cross Great Dane and a Hungarian vizsla. I love them all but my Dane (her name is Nooks) seems to have this gift of reading when I need her the most. She sits with me when I'm having a panic attack and just rests her huge horse head on my lap when I am crying and crying. I am so blessed to have such a beautiful soul in my life. @Eden1919 can you wake up your little fluffy black pup and put her/him on your lap for a cuddle? Just reiterating what @Zoe7 said - minute by minute you will get through this. We are here and listening. Virtual hand hold xx

Our fur babies are such wonderfully intuitive little supports @Former-Member I certainly don't know where I'd be (or if I'd even be here) without them
