Re: Safety

Thank you everyone for the kind words. @Sans911 @Zoe7 @Former-Member I got discharged today quite suddenly the doctor said " you dont seem to be getting any better here so we are going to discharge you" he said there was no point in me being there and pretty much said because nothing else has worked so far that he was giving up and that other people needed to be there more than me. i still feel awful and my mood has been all over the place and i am really not sure what to do i have contacted a clinic in sydney and am possibly gong there but if that doesnt work i think i am out of options my psychologist told my case worker he is not sure how to help me at the moment so he seems like he could be giving up too. my case worker is going away for a month so i was basically discharged with no support at all other than maybe the sydney people will get back to you. i am still feeling just and horrible and all that stuff and nothing has really changed ohter than i am quickly giving up hope that anything can get better and if sydney doesnt work out i am done with doctors and done with all this stuff and just everything is a mess i am trying to stay calm but i dont see the point anymore i have ruined everything again and now i am paying for it.

i hope you are all ok and that things may have improved for you in some way or at least not got any worse.

Re: Safety

Sitting with you @Eden1919 .......💜

Someone here may be able to suggest other clinics that are within reach for you.

Have you tried the Sane Helpline ? They may have some suggestions too, or be able to put you in touch with support services specific to your diagnosis.

Hugs Hon ..... it's an awful situation, but just keep swimming ......

Re: Safety

@Faith-and-Hope This clinic is one that is more suited to my diagnosis i am just frustrated that everything is just so up in the air and everything feels all over the place which is not helpful. i am just not coping with anything right now.

Re: Safety

It is lovely to 'see' you here @Eden1919 although I wish your circumstances were so much better for you. I cannot recommend the SANE helpline more highly buddy - give them a call or use helpline chat - they have more resources that they can recommend in your area. I am sorry that you are feeling much as you did when you went in to hospital but hoping that this clininc comes through for you.

Re: Safety

I hear you and how much it sucks @Eden1919, but you are doing a good job of keeping as calm as you can.

What do you have available in terms of self-care while you get it sorted .... ? Do you do adult colouring books or jigsaw puzzles ? Both can be soothing and distracting.

Re: Safety

@Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7 I just found out the clinic has a 6 week wait list so it could be a while.... not sure what to do now. i just want everything to not be so difficult for even just a little while.

Re: Safety

Call Sane Helpline @Edwn1919 ..... or maybe the clinic can advise you about temporary support services while you are waiting the 6 weeks.

Re: Safety

Hello @Eden1919

Sorry to hear it was a bad experience, but also good that they recognized that. I usually get told the same things and get discharged because in my stays in hospital I don't have any improvement. Hopefully the clinic in Syndey will be of some help for you, you really deserve help. Sometimes it takes a while to figure out what works for us sometimes.

I only ever wish the best for you. You have had enough bravery and strength to make it this far. I know what it is like to have or feel like you have no support. You always have us on here 🙂 Hope you are feeling a bit better this morning x

Re: Safety

@Eden1919 if that clinic seems like the right fit, keep ringing every week to see if someone has dropped out. It must so disheartening for you to get the new you got today. Hugso
