What's your favourite craft? Is there anything you're working on at the moment? What would you like to create/work on (I have heaps of "one day" project patterns and ideas that I know I will probably never get around to, but it's nice to imagine)? I'd love to hear!
I have absolutely no artistic side to me and stick figures are the extent of my drawing ability, but I really enjoy learning and trying out new crafts. I learnt crochet during a stay in a prevention and recovery centre and it's something I pick up often when I am feeling blue, I need a distraction or I'm just a little bored. I've tried paper crafts too, although I didn't really get far with anything. Sharpies are some of my best friends and when I find my hands need to move I have a collection of smooth rocks that I draw on (different coloured circles) which often relaxes me. Sometimes I dust off the sewing machine and sew as well. I walk around spotlight for a fun outing 😉
Oh! Yes that makes sense. Well then thats 2 different ones to make then isnt it !? @CheerBear I might have to buy a few yarn cakes so i can make some. Im not good at the colour changes on the sides.

Re: Craft Corner
😮@outlander that is awesome! Your border looks so great! I imagine it feels pretty secure with the crab stitch? It's good one for that!
Did you find it tricky to reverse your stitches? I had so much trouble with that one the first time I did it!
You finished it and it looks fab! Huge go you 😁👍

Re: Craft Corner
it does indeed @CheerBear i was going to do another border but it looked better with the C2C rather than the granny sqaure stitch,
it took alot of concentration to reverse the stitches! but i didnt have to many troubles it just took me a little longer. im glad its finished now and i can work on my rainbow blanket again so when i progress abit with that one i can share a picture of it. any projects i do in the future i wont be using the yarn i used this time cause it kept changing the thickness and i found it tricky to keep adjusting to the changes of its thickness even though it is an 8ply.
how are you little projects going?

Re: Craft Corner
It felt kind of like writing with my non-dominant hand when I did it @outlander. Or trying to colour my hair with mirrors. My head doesn't like backwards!
That really does look great. I'm genuinely so impressed with how neat and even your stitches have been right from the start. You're a natural at this! It is annoying when yarn does the changing thickness thing 😕
I've been working on cactus (succulent probably) doll on and off when I have had time. She needs to be finished asap as it is a Tuesday present and I'm so close to having her completed. I'm looking forward to sharing her here, though it will probably be a quiet share, because I haven't made anything like it before.
