@Former-Member, i ring her regularly and i always tell myself im gonna tell her but then i listen to her talk about work and how happy she is to be back and i just feel if i tell her my concerns im gonna ruin the one thing that made her happy again

Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

That distance with your nan would complicate things @Former-Member 😞 I have little ones and something I was (sometimes still am) very fearful of is how my mental health may have been seen by others when it comes to the kids. I was very, very scared having all of my 'stuff' brought up when my stuff had to surface. While it's all worked out well so far, that fear hasn't completely left me and it's something I'm sure many parents would feel. I don't have any advice on that but what I do have is a huge amount of empathy and understanding of what that might feel like for you. Like you have just highlighted, your son has a calming effect on you, and with him wanting to be close to you that says to me that you have the same effect on him. When I am in doubt about this stuff, or feeling worried and scared, sometimes it helps me to sit with one of my little people and hug and feel that bond that you've described.

I have to head to bed now but I really hope you get some time to enjoy Mr4 while he's home tomorrow, and that you can fit in some time to do something that feels good for you AJ1.

Will be thinking of you 💗

Yeah @Former-Member id be definently seeking legal advice for this one as hard as it is.
I dont have kids so dont know the mother bond you and @CheerBear must have with your littlies but i do relate to the caring bond and the fear that having an MI will affect it.

Maybe you could ring your nan and have a good chay about it with her. Let her know your happy for her to have the job but to make sure she eases into it so she doesnt over do it

Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

@Former-Member, my MI has been difficult on every "caring bond" i've had and quite often it drives those closest away and now i feel like its trying to break this bond too

i will try to talk to my nan
