The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Highlight of my day? Doing well with my psych. Progressing good. Also realised that I must be cold blooded because this cold weather is disagreeing with me lol

My highlight today is receiving a message from someone I don't know in America. I ran out of cotton to finish my craft project and Spotlight didn't have a match because it's an American pattern. I searched the net and sent a message to the designer. Her response was that she had what I needed and would post it to me. I asked for postage cost and would forward the amount. A few hours later she responded with , I managed to send it as a letter. No cost needed. Enjoy. That really touched me. There are good people out there. I needed that today, not just the cotton but a human ahhh moment.

And finally, my highlight is a person smiling at me as they walked by in the street. Things like that can make a real difference I think. It made me smile and then I smiled at others and I hope they pay it forward too 😊
