The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Hi @Shaz51 Im barely mobile after ‘physical’ /torture test yest. The Old Tab managed a 2 min plank plus 6 mins stepups plus 10meters duck walking plus lifting raising carrying 35kg plus pushups plus joint testing plus 20 squats plus plus I’m 55 ffs plus fat and barely exercise ok re reality. Am. Sore. In so. Many. Different. Ways. 😬

I have had a great day today and just wanted to share.

I was able to enjoy in a little sleep in while it was cold and when I woke up I was able to go shopping on my own (which trust me is a huge thing!) and buy my Mrs a beautiful heart necklace for our anniversary this weekend. I also got some packing done as tomorrow my Mrs and I are headed to the country for the weekend to celebrate 1 year since our big day and 2 years together. It will be good to have some privacy as there isn't any at home (and that's the truth we are forced to sleep with our bedroom door open because her Mum comes in and out all the time).

After all that I sat down on my laptop and managed to complete and submit another assignment. Really chuffed!

I won't be around this weekend as there is no internet and no phone reception where we are going. Just lots of fresh air and nature. Will be fun!
